Emo doesn't exist anymore, so no. "Break Me" isn't emo sounding. "Vortex" however sounds "galaxy-mo". Maybe they'll be the next XodiacK?
  2. Furik

    Sounds interesting as hell!
  3. Furik

    Good choice.

I just beat this Saturday night! It is NOT intended for children at all. It's WAY too hard. If anything, I feel it's made for the players of the past "Country" games. It's incredibly fun.

so technically it's your last post here, unless verizon hooked hell up with wifi coverage? that's not bad, that's probably the best news of this thread than. OMG

Might as well. capsule is an electronic duo, formed in Kanazawa, Japan in 1997 by Yasutaka Nakata (co-producer, art director) and Toshiko Koshijima (vocals). They are part of the shibuya-kei movement that started in 1990, most notably by Pizzicato Five. In March of 2001, they made their first single with Yamaha Music, ‘Sakura’. Their music contains elements of bossa nova, ye-ye, nu jazz, lounge, breakbeat, and most recently, electro house. In 2003, Yasutaka created his own label, contemode, and has produced other artists on the label, such as Perfume, COLTEMONIKHA, NAGISA COSMETIC and Meg. Nakata has described the music produced by Contemode acts as “an accessory to fashion??, and the band’s music can often be found for sale in fashion boutiques in Shibuya, Japan. KILLER WA..er.. WORLD OF FANTASY, new album, MAY 25! Hopefully this will be the last time it's delayed. Haven't been this excited for a new capsule release since MMM (thanks to you guys for getting me into them!) I think it's because PLAYER didn't have much promotion behind it. Two songs have been leaked so far and a bunch of samples.

Not a big fan of her solo work but I instantly fell in love with Tokyo Jihen with the release of their first album. Their later work got weird (what the hell is up with Sports?) but it's still good! They supposedly have a new single to be released soon but I think it got delayed because of the earthquake or one of the members got arrested. Something.
  18. (Too lazy to write another intro so copy+pasted my old TW post. Edited it a bit due to age.) Between the Buried and Me are quite possibly my favorite band ever. Ever. They are a progressive metal band (which fuse genres like jazz, experimental rock, death metal). I believe I like them because they are similar to my favorite Japanese band Coaltar of the Deepers. The singer, Tommy, has an impressive versatile voice - singing falsetto and then drastically changing to growls. He also looks up to the English rock band Muse (and you can pretty much tell with their work - their intro song on their new album sounds identical to Muse's "Take A Bow"). The band has been around since 2000 and has release five albums - their latest, The Great Misdirect. They have a "two EP release" planned, the first (titled "The The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues") being released in April on their new label Metal Blade. They have also release a covers album, The Anatomy Of..., in which they cover bands from the Smashing Pumpkins to Queen. And Tommy can imitate the vocalists like crazy. 2002: Between the Buried and Me 2003: The Silent Circus 2005: Alaska 2007: Colors 2009: The Great Misdirect 2011: The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues (The new EP leaked. Thoughts everyone?)

Looking around their website, I honestly believe they are disbanding. They would've put TOO much hard work into making this an April Fools joke. http://deluhi.com/info110401.html http://deluhi.com/cgi-bin/live/index2008.cgi http://www.getticket.jp/su/pqVLn98xOLn9 ... index.html I'm curious to see what will be posted on Shattered Tranquility and Jrocknyc about their disbandment though.
