I thought the Limited thing was funny as well. I'm guessing because the Monsters Limited Editions didn't sell out all that quickly? (There are still tons out on the market). :/ And I agree this track list is much better than Immortal. I've been hoping for something like this for a couple years now. xD

^ Heh, agreed I'm not big on the title track, but "Glowing Butterfly" - despite the crappy name, is actually pretty awesome. "Libido" is probably the second best song on the single. I'm impressed! 7.5/10

Merry Christmas! Didn't get anything "epic" but I did get a massive stack of CD's, some clothes, gift cards, and books. My kid siblings got awesome stuff, like one of those PlayStation Move things and my bro got a boxing bag thing whatever it is called. ^^ I got my mom some software she wanted, my dad a new pocket knife, my grandma a handmade bracelet, and made all my friends cookies. I enjoyed seeing them have fun, eating a bunch of Christmas junk food and some of the best-tasting deep fried turkey, and being with my insane family. Great day!

Heh, thanks CAT5. ^^ For those who miss Yama-B, he's been working a bit on his solo projects Rekion and Gunbridge. Rekion released an album last year and have a new single coming out soon and Gunbridge have a new single too. I personally like his voice more in those projects for some reason than in Galneryus, but the genre is more or less the same melodic power metal, just not as keyboardy-ish or symphonic.

So? I don't think that's such a horrible reason to consider something "the worst" - even if it did apply to everyone who stated they disliked the album.

It has been the opposite for me, heh. I'm into a somewhat decent amount of Japanese metal, but I'm only into like . . . five metal bands from elsewhere! xD I need to get working on looking around the Global music boards at this place some, lol.

I've only cried when I saw the video of Due le Quartz last live when they performed "Meikyou Shisui." I could care less about the band, it was just sad to see Miyabi crying. Also Antic Cafe's last live with Bou. xD

@CAT5: Eternal Warrior is awesome! "Onslaught!" I think my favorite has been either Overload or Immortal, I can't decide. I believe their homepage and Eizo's blog was discussing them recording a new album for next year. We'll see. . . Cool that you like Volcano as well - I love She-ja and Nov! I think there was something on their website about them having a new album next year too. Yay, 2011! @o hai itz will: I only have two Sigh CD's, but they are a sick band! I enjoy Imaginary Sonicscape and Gallows Gallery. Sometimes their singer gets on my nerves but he's really funny!

I second MUCC's Karma. It was worse than I thought it was going to be; it is really depressing. I'm pretty sure there were other horrible ones I haven't heard yet from Japan. . . For America, I guess Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being. xD

@Champ: I'm not much of a death metal person, but I do remember the band FollowBane was okay. I wasn't in love with them, but everything but maybe the vocals were good. Anthem is one of my favorites as well. @ronluna: If you liked Reaction, you should also try Grand Slam too. They have the same vocalist and a former bassist of 44Magnum.

JAPANESE METAL I hope this thread is okay to make! ^^ A thread to talk about all those other metal bands from Japan that don't really get talked about much on TW! From the 80's to the present - it can be bands from the general heavy/hair/glam "Japameta" scene (Loudness, Vow Wow, Dead End, Sex Machineguns etc.) or bands from other metal sub genres or extreme metal scene (Sigh, Boris, etc.) and even solo projects of metal band members if they have any. I guess to start out everyone can just list/talk about their favorite bands and/or share favorite songs and releases! My favorites are: Anthem Boris Blindman AxBites Dead End Loudness Grand Slam G.D. Flickers Youthquake Gargoyle Mephistopheles Volcano Rekion Gunbridge Sigh Eizo Sakamoto solo Vow Wow/Bow Wow . . .and that's all I can recall for now

I really dislike any web page in Flash, doesn't matter how professional or well done it is, Flash sucks. I really prefer the basic web page without a bunch of stupid sparkles and bling all over the place. Agreed. Plus my internet connection can't tolerate loading up a bunch of moving junk.

I guess this doesn't count as a J-Rock website specifically, but I hate the appearances of some of the Ameba and LiveDoor blogs that they use - they just look so tacky. Otherwise most artists I like have decent-looking sites.

The music is eh, I haven't really sat down and listened to a song through and through yet . . . it's just the singer that gives me the creeps.
