All it takes is the right setting to bring all of these ppl together because their tastes, as I have witnessed, do overlap - very frequently I might add. People ARE NOT satisfied with the current state of affairs - they just accept it because they figure, "well that's just how things are". They have neither the will nor the know-how to change things, but if they were to be presented with an alternative, I guarantee that those who haven't become completely jaded will hop on it.

I have no idea what happened to KMC, but they were about equal to jpopsuki. They probably shut down out of fear/paranoia since new Japanese filesharing laws were enacted not too long ago. But since KMC was made specifically for Japanese ppl, that kinda makes them irrelevant in this discussion.

Did you intend to gather people with non mainstream japanese music interest? Well I have been active in many forum with different specialties, and I think MH is the best place for discuss even for non mainstream music, and if you want to search good sharing place there are many place like that, All I want to see is a good discussion about non VK music here
