    @local arty hennies - anyone ever used japanese watercolor pads/spiral sketchbooks? are they any good?

     

    I just got the canson mixed media pad after not using them for a few years and the quality downgrade for a noticeably higher price is unreal I don't get what happened to them

      I've only used Fabriano paper for watercolor and so does another I know, then just get the cheapo stuff for non-important work like Strathmore or even those generic brand with the big letter on the front (forgot the name).

      looking now the big letter one might've been canson lol, been a long time since that.
