    I can not stand hitomi's vocals and couldn't get into them before despite generally good instrumentals, but maybe they still got some outstanding gems and I'm missing out?

      Jk, I'd recommend trying their later material, like their jen:ga album or dark mini-album. I can definitely understand your aversion to hitomi's vox (it took me a while to warm up to him, despite absolutely adoring the instrumentals to early songs like "kimi no ita gosenfuu". BUT, I think he definitely improved over time). So some later PVs/tracks I'd personally recommend are "snowing," "薔薇色の地獄," and "春の夜の、ひと雫".
