mmm... dunno really. I tend to like more straightforward songs by gazette. I find it difficult to appreciate songs just by their technical composition-merits only.
 
Stuff like HEADACHE MAN and maybe UGLY are good songs to waste some energy on. Miseinen however will forever be my favourite track of theirs.

OMINOUS! They hit perfection with this one. But DOGMA is also a masterpiece. Dammit, they're good :'D

major gazette is either D.L.N. (original take), or derangement. baretta is one of their most original songs ever tho, maybe I've just overplayed it back in the day, since I barely listen to it now.

13stairs, the creepy opening, the energetic second part, the gradually speeding up ending... solid composition. For more recent tracks, UNDYING is solid for initially sounding pretty chaotic but ultimately being both a hard hitter and having a really powerful chorus.

This is gonna make me sound like a hipster, since I mostly enjoy Old GazettE and honestly, and everyone in the Vkei scene is gonna hate me for this, but I didn't enjoy Dogma too much, but anyways, my favourite is Sentimental Na Onigokko. I like how the song changes throughout, from Punk, to sort-of Industrial Metal and so fourth. 
Gosh I'm such a "that guy" and probably look like the biggest Vkei hipster out there.

I really like DIM SCENE. When I first heard the song the opening just blew me away. It is just so tense and atmospheric. It sets up the vocal part really nicely. I still wonder how they made that sound of something rolling around in the beginning. Just an amazing song.
 
DOGMA and OMINOUS were amazing too. They definitely stand out among the GazettE's recent songs. And NIL was such a good album with a bunch of amazing songs.

I actually have to agree with you. There's so much weight in that song and every second just grabs my attention.
 
edit: I forgot to add that 'dogma' and 'ominous' share the same spot in my list of best gazette songs.
 
imo they could have been one long song and it would've worked. In 'ominous' I can really feel something big and hopeless is about to happen. It's a really tense atmosphere until eventually time is at a standstill before the climax. Also kai performs some beautiful drum magic throughout the whole song. Then it feels like 'dogma' is the aftermath of whatever the hell was summoned in 'ominous'.
 

As the #1 played song on my iTunes, it has to be Baretta (バレッタ).
I like to imagine that the bass being muddled and overwhelming was intentional, giving us that groggy feel of "was this memory real? why can't I remember? it hurts thinking about it".
The way the guitar strings began this dream-like illusion, followed by the guitars picking up, this dream really begins.
The way Ruki sang the parts in the chorus made the entire verse seem to come to life.
Each member was so into it by the guitar solo, it's pretty fucking incredible how an amazing piece of work like this was forged.
