I already mentioned Orphaned Land and Melechesh, both whom fits the oriental folk metal bill. Myrath, Chthonic, Acyl, Dislocation, Arsh Anubis, Narjahanam and Master of Persia are others that fits that bill as well. Not all of these are folk metal though, some of them just have ome influences thrown in.

Kamomekamome are super sweet and I really digged all three albums I've heard by them, so I voted for them. I still have never listened to a full release by The Black Swan, but I remember that Jin's vocals already didn't really rub me the right way back in the Nega days. If any of y'all can rec me a release of theirs so I can give them a chance it would be cool tho

That 5 mins or whatever demo version of DIABOLOS is actually better than the album version imo, i really wish they would release more demo versions of tracks. That Dozing Green demo is also incredible.

This isn't even a competition lmao, 88kasyo blows Mejibray straight out of the water when it comes to overall skill and ESPECIALLY consistency. They've been delivering damn solid albums on a yearly basis, while Mejibray has just been getting worse and worse (and they weren't even all that great to start with...)

Replayed the SNES Megaman X games recently, they still hold up pretty well. Megaman X3 is kinda bullshit with its totally unnecessary blind jumps into spike pits from time to time though. Also recently decided to give Secret of Monkey Island a spin using SCUMMvM. Never played it before, even though it's one of those games most people regard as a classic in its genre..
