Yeah, it's def. unfortunate that it won't make the MH list, but we have to get a jump on things a bit early, as a lot of work and time goes into MMHas. Thankfully, we still have our own individual lists to do. Were you gonna make a best-of list this year?

Yeah, that's the sucky part of this format, late November and December releases get screwed.

@CAT5  I'm not sure, I might, but I also have like 5 or 6 big essays due around the end of the year so y'know... (Plus there's the fact that I'm not entirely up to date w.r.t. 2016 releases... this year has mostly been steeped in discovering older stuff lol) WEG definitely deserves a spot on the list though, in my opinion.

@Ito Yeah, I mean, it's still a cool format, and obviously a ton of work & love is put into it, but it's always sad to see albums released at the tail end of a year sort of collectively get shafted by most 'best of the year' lists.. That doesn't just go for here on MH, it kind of seems to be the same in other places as well. Then again, at the same time, there usually isn't a very high concentration of absolute game changers being dropped at the very ass end of the year anyway. I guess Arche was sort of like that when it came out.. Other than that i'm drawing a blank lol
