I love it tbh don't need them to be moody and super heavy all the time, gimme the weird upbeat and anthemic stuff too!!

You really can tell when a band is actually enjoying what they're doing. This song's silly as shit but they sound like they're having the time of their lives.

I am really really looking forward to the album now.

idk about other bands but 9gbo was active for 7 years or so...quite a lifespan for a vk band imo...

I'm guessing another name change. They've been changing it every 5 years, from アリス九號 to Alice Nine (2009) to A9 (2015). I'm guessing the negotiations with PSC has been well and truly wrapped up, and they're taking the copyrights for all their songs and アリス九號/Alice Nine branding back. Whether they'll go for a new name (please don't randomly add 'the' to the front) or revert back to Alice Nine is anyone's guess. 

These 2 recent albums are so nostalgic.  Throws me back to their activity before Alpha.  I'm just in awe with how they have implemented all they have learned these 15 years and made each of their compositions better.   

ppl out here gonna act like 90s band names like ✝Le+Rêve:DuCroissanT✝ are fine but a band using latin terms as album titles is too pretentious

i don't listen to the ~must know~ bands like dir en grey, malice mizer, x japan... and i'm fine like that, but i worry being seen as a "fake" v-kei fan.

It’ll probably be a year since TIW, by the time the single drops. 

DIR EN GREY announced that they will release a new Blu-ray/DVD, entitled 『FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of 16-17]』on August 7.
They also announced the release of a new single sometime in Autumn and a new Tour, TOUR19 This Way to Self-Destruction from September 15 to November 20.
