I feel you 100% on this. As an African Descendant of Slavery, I've experienced similar situations. Who would be more qualified to speak on a culture than someone who's already fully immersed in it? I hate when I see these non-"black" SJW types parading around as "allies", when over half of these muhfukkas don't even truly fuck with "black" ppl like that. Most of these ppl don't even want to live around "black" folk, which tells you how they REALLY feel about us. And a lot of these SJW-types champion ideologies that are harmful and destructive to "black" ppl in general.
 
But yeah, I wouldn't even sweat those people. They're more interested in policing the thoughts and actions of others than their own. They wanna change the world by changing other ppl instead of just being the change they want to see. It's ass-backwards...

I can't think of a band that released two albums before a single. Pretty interesting way of releasing stuff that seemed to work pretty well for them.

And I would say they had little input, if any at all, on the song-writing. Most of the album had been released before on Kaika and an omnibus, as well as been played live for a while before Kaika or Oni, and even the new songs are credited to Keisuke for writing the music and lyrics. The rest are all Keisuke and Seiya, even though he wasn't in the band at the time of Oni's release. If we're going by credits alone, the only other person credited Oni is actually Ryo (from Gilgamesh) who composed all the instrumental tracks.

Yeah, only involved in the production of Oni (oficially, they joined the band last year). Seiya and Hiroto left shortly after Kaika was released.

Oh, obis, almost all physical music releases in Japan have them, little pieces of paper that provide the title of the product, track listing, price, catalog number and information on related releases. I for one love these little inserts, and have kept so many over the years from releases that I have in an envelope simply called "OBIS" dating back to 2006 with DIR EN GREY's 凌辱の雨.
 
So, what's your opinion on obis? Do you keep them or just throw them away and have you ever found any cool/interesting ones? I recall a band making a poster out of obis that you could collect and put together.

The top five albums got me thinking about singles, because as I was going through albums I started thinking about great singles whether they're 1,2 or 3 songs.
