  1. So, I used to hate it as a child, but as I became an adult and now at 30 I love the stuff. I'm talking about coffee you make yourself, not Starbucks or a percolator. So, do you like coffee? If so how do you like it, do you just buy it or do you prepare it yourself? How do you prepare it?

I got rid of my coffee make and use a Hario v60 and an Aeropress depending on how much work I want to put into it. I buy beans from the store, and occasionally pre-ground. I'm hoping to subscribe to a Japanese coffee subscription soon as well. Currently I go for medium roasts as it's pretty hard to find lighter roasts in the store and I'm not ready for the dark roasted traditional Japanese coffee aka jet fuel.

-Also be sure to say if you prefer tea over coffee, what kind and why? I pay around $16USD for a small container of pure matcha every 3 months and it's definitely worth it. Matcha is stronger and has even more health benefits than green tea, especially if you get pure and not "made with matcha". I still need a chosen though as I just sift it and cold brew it. 🍵

This is why we have tags and the archive. Exactly for those who think "there's a lot to sort through".

Anyway, here's something new:  Ray from DEVILOOF played a hour long live and chat on his FB page and their VK fan page recorded and shared it below:

He even speaks some english with his fans, but only played like, one song and didn't even bother plugging in his eletric guitar to an amp, LOL.

That Facebook one is actually the first time he's shown his face online when he's playing in probably a year as well. Interesting.

Ray generally goes on Instagram at least twice a week and plays for an hour or so.

hurr durr April's fool. The waifu stuff snapped me out of it.

Totally forgot that's what today was as it's my anniversary so I don't put much stock in the fake joke part of it lol. Anyway, I could totally see them doing that though, at least in an advisory role, haven't actually had time to read it yet.

I do fall into the range of Americans who have more than 1 credit card, but I don't have THAT many. I have a pretty good limit on both but I do NOT overspend and max out cards. I first got one when I started working as a teenager because I wanted to start building good credit since that's pretty important in America. Spend only what you can afford to pay back etc etcccc. It's useful for emergencies.

please don't max out credit cards for bands yo lmao

Same, the ONLY reason I got one to begin with was because I was told that I need to get one, need to build credit, need credit for pretty much everything in America supposedly, but I took advice from family, family who had filed bankruptcy, a mother who had 20 credit cards at one point, and a marketing culture that prays on the young and impressionable. Excuse my French, but my fucking APR is 26.40% on the 5k and 24.24% on the 1,5k one, and I've been told that that's insane and an apr should be around 10-15%, but I had no idea when I signed up because like I'm sure everyone knows, they don't teach this in school and they market credit cards to young people and anyone can get one including the dead and pets. 😫

  6. I'm talking either awful mixing because someone is a shit engineer or the kote kei kind where they deliberately make something sound like it's from the 90's when music production in VK was bare bones like La'veil MizeriA (might not count since Starwave record songs in an empty tunnel or something) or Crucifixion and the Matina label who did such a thing deliberately as it's a part of the aesthetic. I personally have times where I really like it and times when it's unlistenable compared to more well produced bands.

I watched the episode of "Otaku in tha Hood" with Shaka Bose recently. The series is kind of like MTV Cribs for Japanese rappers, but a lot of the artists they cover are not very well known, so their homes aren't very impressive.

Shaka Bose's is kind of interesting because he shares a home with a bunch of other musicians that he collabs with. Their individual rooms just basically look like tiny student dorms, but it's kind of cute.

Really cool series, not updated enough, but I really liked the Kowichi one.

I've got only one with near $5k limit. No problems with it, I always keep my debt in range of 0-300.

I could kick myself every time for getting limit increases over the past nearly 5 years I've had my oldest card. Glad you're able to reign it in.
