123Sandman321 got a reaction from Axius in ラッコ (Lack-co.)
I was actually surprised, these guys didn't have a dedicated topic. As I've seen, people here have been generally lukewarm towards them, but they have definitely redeemed themselves with their full album. Compared to the mismatched mess of both good and horrible ideas, they released previously, with the album, they have finally found their sound and the re-recorded songs now have a much better tone and feel. I'm excited for their next release.

123Sandman321 got a reaction from zaa_zaa in FIXER Dr. Korey will depart.
Fast =/= technical, or good, for that matter. No one said he was bad, because he obviously isn't, but as you yourself have said, his live performance is lacking by modern standards. Also, comparing to other drummers is pointless, because they are all so samey and unwilling to get out of their comfort zone (in FIXER's genre). They fit the music, and do what they are supposed to do, but they don't seem to enhance it in any way. And Korey definitely falls under that category, with the added bonus of being his own metronome.
Dude should seriously have a click-track in his ear during his future lives, because, damn, the videos from the DVD they have posted were so fuckin' bad.

123Sandman321 got a reaction from -NOVA- in X JAPAN playing Coachella 2018
Do they honestly need even a single guitarist for Yoshiki's 45-minute-long piano-wanking?

123Sandman321 got a reaction from zaa_zaa in DEXCORE
BLACK PIG is too much of them trying to be deathcore, but failing terribly...I love those dudes and Imitation was one of the highlights of 2017, but that was just disappointing. Generic, boring and something that western deathcore bands have been doing 10x better for years.

123Sandman321 got a reaction from Komorebi in Far East Dizain
Look on the bright side, Keita isn't "rapping" at least.
Also, it was already established that Leda has an illness called Shit Taste, for which there is no cure.
But, honestly, as a package, it's an overall solid record, I mean, in context of Leda's previous works, it's certainly lacking, but considering the whole scene, it's still up there.
Though, my main issue with this album, and FED in general, is the utter disappointment (most notably with Tonick Dizain) that I get with nearly every release. It's good, sometimes great, even. But they have the potential to do so much more and that's what pisses me off.
(also including a 2-fucking-year old single...which is still the highlight of the album)

123Sandman321 got a reaction from Axius in THE THIRTEEN 2 EPs release
While it's nothing ground-breaking, it's miles better than their 1st album (...damn, that shit was bad), and I have some hope in them, now, after this and their last release.

123Sandman321 reacted to TheZigzagoon in How come Mejibray are more popular than a lot of VK bands from this decade?
I've heard of sadie but never given them a listen DX
If the opportunity was presented to me, I would probably go see them live (well, even tho it's looking R.I.P Mejibray) but the fanbase is almost, if not equal to, the cringe that a lot of Gazette fans provide. It makes it hard to like a band when you try follow content but are bombarded with "oh minna san no one can look at Tsuzuku sama because erm he's my kawaii husbando" it just ruins it for me. It may seem petty, but why can't they evaluate them for their music at all? There's more to visual kei than just the looks

123Sandman321 got a reaction from Komorebi in Oi, everyone
Wow, can't believe I came around to making an account after nearly 3 years lurking. might be just my drunk delirium
Anyway, firstly, lemme thank you for showing me such amounts of stellar music, ever since I first stumbled upon this website.
From now on, I'll be happy and eager to join the discussion with y'all and get to know you. I won't just peep from the sidelines, from now on
And to pinpoint my music taste...it's hard, since I can enjoy basically any genre of music, though generally heavier stuff is the closest to my liking.
