Remix haters make me wonder whether they have listened to Ain't Afraid to Die remixes or at least Kisou-era remixes...and maybe even Jessica's bossa remix has been forgotten? Hyperbolic hate right there.
 
This single on the other hand, is a mess. The song is literally DS done in a radio-friendly, compact package while Kuukoku remix serves no other purpose than distracting the listener from its only attraction i.e. droning guitars by Kaoru avec warm synth pads. The remix? The approach itself is in fact fresh in the midst of usually dark and gloomy Dir en mix production but the song choice? A real shame that the most talented figure of 12012 missed a damn good chance on utilizing new genreistic aspects and used lousy Saku v2 as the basis for his creations...sheesh.
 
Wonder if both lyrics (references!) and the release tempo (during/after Arche touring) signify some sort of WtD-y release in the near future - as in having tons of "sore thumbs"/standoffs in a completely different theme.

I was instantly reminded of Tokyo Jihen's Noudouteki Sanpunkan, yeah. Not sure how intentional it is, but It was a pretty cool nod nonetheless.

Just some observations on my part regarding kuroyume when they returned in the late 00's. 
 
They released a heck of alot of A-B-C type releases, most likely because of AVEX's business model, and  I always felt like an artist like kiyoharu wouldn't actively do something like that unless he had to.  I always think of Avex as like dealing with the devil, you get the label support and advertising push (sometimes) but I'm sure artistically you're trading off something.  In kuroyume's case, it led to an excessive release cycle of singles / albums / dvds. that perhaps didn't sell well or rather, in the end, didn't leave kuroyume / kiyoharu with a profit when everything was said and done. Hence SADS and his solo project going on at the same time. I mean, this is the same guy who quit / stopped SADS despite the band having like 10-20 new songs written during the 13 tour just to go solo. 
He pretty much rolled from kuroyume to sads and sads to solo with hardly any break. Instead we were all getting kuroyume / sads music left-and-right like it was Christmas again. Maybe it wasn't so much that he was trying to treat the fans with kuroyume and SADS again but rather some big fat cash advance that caused them to reform.

If I want to be optimistic about all this, if someone buys the rights to all things kuroyume, maybe we'll get some old early 90's concerts on DVDs. I would surely shell out my hard earned cash for those!

As much as this would sound lulzy though, the reality is that there should be more added up since he had 4 different Kuroyumes to be sold, and at least one or two in the middle (Kuroyume circa late '94-96 and early punk Kuroyume) had tons of revenue gathered up to this day too (i.e. they are really valuable compared to flopping in later stages or so-so figures during early days). But we still gotta wait and see (also calling for @Uglymouth to see if anything was said about early Kuroyume trademarks a la RoS-era being up for bidding too in nihongo)
 
Speaking of which - ONLY NOW he got himself into huge probs? This man has managed to stay far away from scandals even after low-key admitting drug abuse ventures (which is deemed to be REALLY bad and career-killing, e.g. Laruku's Sakura case, when we speak of Japanese music industry)

Can we please crowdfund this?

^ it's actually pretty fast, and requires very little artist skill to produce content the way capcom have approached pipeline for REVII
 
idk if they have in house staff working on the PV, or they hired extra cgi artists/marketing team for this.

Just as @doomboxalready mentioned, he had a "heavy hand" in helping MUCC to churn out most of Kyuutai efforts - including the otherwise good leftover "Freesia" (gee you wondered why they premiered it so early?). Make sure to listen to his cover of "Fuyuu" on YT and notice his influence there...
