For Decameron, Aura, and Dream, the generator used one of the many other artists that share those band names.  So I crappily photoshopped the proper band that I listen to of those names.  Also, I guess I haven't corrected my tags because S/mileage appears twice on the list.  XD

I'm so sorry, my old account was deleted ~3 months ago (and now I'm so sad... all my memories and stuff that  written and posted since 2011 were lost...) because of my paranoia, depressive blackouts and other stuff that makes me feel really really bad, but it was kind of goodbye to my past life and past self. I think it will be filled with my manga collection (I'm hardcore Kusumoto Maki fan, and my recent manga-crush is Sakamoto Shinichi's "Innocent") and visual kei archives  (90s vkei is ♡）and weird posts in russian/english/japanese (I'm also started to learn french and edhellen (don't even ask!).
I need interesting blogs to follow and read... I'll follow you back if you're suits my personal and very specific sense of beauty. LGBT+ hyperfriendly, guys and gals living with depression/self-hating/suicidal episodes/etc. are welcome, too. On my way to the long term residence in Japan, it will be cool if there's someone who are going to have the same experience.

I think my general approach to music listening has enabled my interest in VK to never wane completely. Whatever I do, I am unable to stop scouring the Internet for new artists to listen to, even as my downloads folder is bursting at the seams. I suppose I am trying to make sure I'm not missing out on good music, which obviously will always be a work in progress.
 
That's not to say I never experience fatigue with VK. But when that happens, I simply listen to whatever other styles of music I'm into, or go give a listen to something from the myriad of old school VK acts I haven't heard yet.  The spectrum of VK is pretty wide and it helps that I enjoy a great deal of it. This forum makes it rather easy for me to select the newer bands that are worth a shot. I don't feel like I have a duty to listen to VK all the time and it's perfectly fine, like in every other music scene, if sometimes there's nothing much to catch my attention or I happen to not be in the mood for it. All the years in the scene have desensitized me to the whirlwind of disbandments, so I can no longer despair over a band calling it quits. Something else will come along eventually.
 
Welp this has turned into a "why I haven't gotten over VK" argument, sorry for digressing. I concur with others that there's value in discussing this topic , more so since I've always wanted to know where the fuck my fellow Romanian VK fans have all disappeared to and a more introspective and elaborate reason why.

Also I don't listen AT ALL to BAISER even though I want to give them a chance, they seem to be my style since they're similar to LAREINE and SHAZNA. Romantic kei is my favourite VK genre. I will try to listen soon. But if the band name litirally means "fucking" it's a big turn-off since the half of my country (Belgium) speaks French lol. Also I noticed there's no BAISER topic at all in this subforum so any big fans, go on your way!

This was either a title from Tatsu, who likes using English words in almost convincing ways, or Baby who is anti-authoritarian with his reggae inspired lifestyle.

After 8 years of dormancy, Gastunk had a comeback one-man live on March 24th 2018 performing classics from all of their albums and singles and in particular the track 'Shout' from their self-titled EP which hasn't been performed since the mid 80s.


This concert in its entirety will be released on DVD on February 6, 2019.
Included with the DVDs is a CD of 15 select tracks from the gig.

LDR is expensive, I was in LDR for 3 years, but we afford it,  either I visited him or him visited me or we met at some other places. And communication need to be often, everyday. And technology helps. We texted each other each day. and did skype calls back in the day. But with whatsapp, people can do much more these days honestly. 
 
As with other relationship, the two party need to work for it to make it work. But with LDR, the team of two need to do much more than those who are not. Agreement need to be made. Aside from communication, trust and honesty are very important. 
 
We are still together now, 10 years in. 
 
 
My advice is, do you see even a hint of future for the LDR? It is not just a case of "maybe", but you need to be sure. And at least one of you need to afford to meet. Since as good as the communication goes, we still need physical touch. If yes, it may be good to keep pursuing it. Otherwise, it will be a waste of time and energy. And with the other person you've come to like, you may explore the possibilities, however, you need to tell the person you have LDR with about it so there won't be the feeling if being crossed or such, plus the person may let you know how they feel about it.

Quick history lesson: JUBILEE was an Osaka-based underground band from 1992 till the mid '00s helmed by guitarist Sadie Pink Galaxy (XA-VAT, SPEECIES, VAMQUET). They started out playing more traditional goth/deathrock/post-punk then evolved into a sort of psychedelic industrial rock style.
 
They had a number of vocalists over the years but it looks like this revival will happen with their last singer Heresy. Sadie also tweeted a few weeks ago that they have already completed 7 new songs so far. Curious to see how this will turn out! (pls no more live-only releases, lol)
 
 
 
 
edit: They have just announced that a new album called "DEATH TWICE 4 LIVING" will be released on 2019/01/13, featuring some new versions of old JUBILEE songs too.

Say you were in an LDR (like, a REALLY long distance) and you really did care about each other. It's unlikely that you'd meet in the near future, but who knows? If you saved up enough money, you could surely go see each other. Anyways, let's say you met someone else in person and, even though you still really like the LDR, you kinda liked the other person as well. What would you do?
For me, it's difficult, because I'd never, ever, ever cheat on anyone. If I didn't want to be with someone, I would be honest and tell them, even if we'd never met in person, but it's tricky when you like two people at the same time, one of whom you're already with (albeit long-distance). There's a part of me that thinks I should probably just give up on love because a. even though I would want to stay with someone forever, I probably wouldn't stay with someone for a long time, given my current (and past) situation, and b. I actually met someone a while ago whom I loved a lot (he rejected me, but my feelings were very strong and didn't really change), and I every time I start liking someone, as awful as it may be, I can't help but think that I would probably leave them for the guy from a while ago if we ever crossed paths again.
I don't want to give up on love, but I also don't want to put myself through any more of this. I remember someone telling me some time ago that having feelings doesn't make me a bad person, even if those feelings change, and I agreed with him, but if I'm aware of how frequently they change and I don't do anything about it, doesn't that at least make me irresponsible and naive?
So, yeah. Your thoughts?
