I used Tenso to transfer a bunch of my Japanese shopping to me in the UK a month ago. Two out of three parcels got held by customs and I was charged heftily for them. 
 
I appealed against their decision and received this letter after about 3 weeks:
 

I don’t think it works every time but in case anyone wants to try and challenge HMRC/  Border Force’s decision, what I did was try to proof that the parcels contained “personal belongings”, which are not liable for customs under HMRC’s regulations. The proforma invoices/ custom invoices and the waybills Tenso attached to my parcels state that they are “personal effects” and I also highlighted the fact that the sender and receiver names are the same (even though one of them has Tenso.com as the sender). I sent all originals of custom declaration forms, proforma invoices, custom charge letters, charge labels and the Form BOR286 for each parcel to Border Force. If you have a photocopy of your flight ticket, that’d be even better. But I don’t in this case as I ordered everything online but I am lucky that they have reversed the charges. 

I bet no one expected to see this pop up....

I wonder if anyone on here has ever thought about creating an irl event for monochrome heaven for people to go? Something like a gathering to meet local people who also like Visual Kei. 
If it's not against forum rules to do something like this and the idea is interesting to you I'll be really happy to talk about it.

MH meets are the greatest. Without exception, I've had great fun in them! At the very least they're really memorable, even if you got no recollection of what went down - if that makes any sense ;D
 
Speaking of - There's gonna be a VK event at Helsinki, Finland on 6th of October. This is a great chance to attend a small scale MH meet as few cool people from here are going there too! This on a very short notice, but if anyone shows up, I can always give a place to stay - if you're okay with staying in one of the shadier parts near Helsinki and sleeping on floor (I only got futon and some random sleeping mattresses)

I'd be glad to take my club wherever there is an audience big enough to sustain it. I have plans for international appearances in the future. Just hook me up with a venue of appropriate size and I'll see what can be done. Dropping a like on the official Facebook page would help too since it's good leverage when dealing with venues.
 
On the topic of events, there's an irregular event in Finland too for Visual Kei, and a club in Budapest that regularly does VK music. I've attended both and they were excellent in their own right, although I personally believe (of course) that my own is the best one due to the meticulous preparations and quality. 
 
The first date of Lunacy in Stockholm had @Takadanobabaalien, @paradoxal, @orange~, @Disposable, @Shizumi, @K8A, and probably some other lurkers. Hoping for more the next time!

in Italy some people organize events like 'jrock night' 'visual kei night'  and they are basically dj sets with music, makeup and alcohol 

yeah so at klubb lunacy we were... 5? people from MH. I guess that could be considered a MH meet-up. would be cool to organize something bigger though.

I know there's been a couple smaller MH meetups in Finland over the years, but I don't think there's ever been anything officially organized?

As with my earlier outputs, I thought it would be neat to discuss about "interesting" chord progressions in our beloved, visual scene as well!  What kind of intriguing progressions (from your POV) you guys have stumbled onto while going through your VK repertoire? As long as you are able to explain your choices, it's all OK...not that this thread would gain enough exposure, lol (I am not gonna hop into another round of "what is VK music" debate and just pinpoint that even in 00s and earlier 10s it was easy to acknowledge imho what's  "so VK" and what's "not so VK" in the auditory context.)
 
Prime example or where to start:
 
"Royal road" progression (IV△7→V7→IIIm7→VIm)
VK example of this: as far as I have noticed, Gazette's "Sumire" is pretty much about that kind of progression too, no?

Any fans of Vidoll? I was never a real big Vidoll fan. I have a couple of their CD's, although I did really like the "Nectar" single, but that's the only one I really liked, that I still remember, both those songs were good. "Nectar" and "Orihime".
