BrenGun reacted to Lestat in Post your "UNPOPULAR" music opinions!
Most of the bands you mentioned here, at least KEEL, emmurée, ネガ and Ayabie, already had their roots in the 90's, or early 00's. Their members spawned from groups such as AZALEA, Aliene Ma'riage, D'elsquel, and another few honorable mentions. It was only a matter of time before you heard that inspiration back in these members' newer bands and that is why they still sound attractive to the people who are stuck with their tastes in these eras. A lot of the newer bands that came about after 2010 consist of young folks in their early twenties. Surely, they might have grown up with 90's Visual Kei but they haven't had the experience that came with playing in such bands, thus these elements have simply been erased and they follow what's currently attractive to the general audience. This is why you always see musicians dabbling around in completely different bands; yesterday it was Oshare, today it's the fluke that Visual Japan calls 'metalcore' — they simply follow the direction of what most fans are currently most stoked about and a lot of these musicians don't care what music they play, or if they sport demon wings, dark makeup, or a frilly princess dress, as long as it sells. It's why I usually tend to stick to units that bring older members with them (those who are in their mid 30's) because there will still be a source of the original sound that Visual Kei brought along with itself and it feels to me as if these musicians have a lot more respect for the scene. It's why I will always support most —if not anything— these iconic musicians who have had experience with Visual Kei's memorable sound, release.

[REVIEW] E.T ALL CD (MH SPECIAL version)

E.T some of us know them, some of us don't know them. They yet still one of the most underrated bands.
They started as a 5 member band but at the moment E.T is a 3 member band + 1 support member.
Members are: Hiro (vocal), Bass (Issei), Drum (Asei) and Support Guitar (Ryouta).
E.T music is a mix of (Heavy) Rock, Screamo and Nu Metal. Also they have created Acoustic songs which got a beautiful rocking style. Most of their songs are written in English (Engrish). But also Japanese or part Japanese. If you are fan of linkin park, korn, Papa Roach, system of down or any band who is a bit similar to them you will like E.T for sure. They are amazing live but also amazing on disk! Also I think that Hiro has a pretty own unique sounded voice.
Alright let's take a look inside their works.

    1.TAKING BACK BESIDE ME
    2.I HATE ALL
    (OFFICIAL MV)

    3.DIRTY MY BLOOD
    4.STAY REAL
    5.Tomorrow is Anotherday
    6.BRANDNEW WORLD

This CD release is a more while release again, which made you totally dance and headbang wild.It includes some calm songs but most of them are (lovely) heavy! Also this release will remind you of all those great 2000's nu-metal bands. Which totally also swap you back in time. And you can hear again what kind of good vocalist Hiro is. His voice is never annoying in any song. Only with this release again, English is Engrish. So you really need to look up at the lyrics to understand what is sung. What also gives you fun mishearing. E.T really plays I HATE ALL and "Tomorrow is another day" very often at their live gigs. which are also my favorite songs of this mini-album.

    1.Doors
    2.Ocean
    3.Sweetpain(Acoustic ver.)

    Fully sung in Japanese!!!
It's a calm / soft release, I would still place it inside the rock world. And if you liked sweetpain you will love Doors and Ocean too. Because all those songs proof what kind of great vocalist Hiro is. warm voice, sung with feeling, does hit all tones good, voice fits the melody... You just fall in love with his voice. And of course the guitar play is all with Acoustic guitar.
However, this single isn't available to order easy, but it can be bought via a proxy. (at live gigs, or per e-mail)

    1.Fortune
    2.Devil's walk by faith
    3.THE LAST DAY

Fortune is my favorite song on this one, and it did let mishear the lyric completely. Yes for Engrish! It's a nice fast upbeat song. I also think that this single has a nice good own E.T sound. From inspiration of other great bands they created a good cool own musical style. which they proof again with this amazing single.
Devil's is a more heavy and also an upbeat song also very good. The Last Day is a bit more calm song with lovely heavy parts too.

We shouldn't forget about this band even if only "Sweetpain" is alround the Internet.
We still can get their music via Closet Child and Puresound and all releases are still live sold! So are you ready to support them?! are you ready!!??!!
They are 100% one of my favorite bands and they will ever be.

I hope some more people will give them some more love in the Future!!

At 8/31 I went to their ONE MAN gig in Yokohama. The show was fantastic only they played a little bit to many slow songs. Of course also very good played However for myself I like wild crazy songs do move crazy on. (laugh) Even tho the show was really fantastic and very enjoying. They played 2 hours, 21 songs where played and yes it was a pity that they only played 2 hours. (laugh) It was way to short!!!

A nice setlist at the day almost only women went, I guess there were only 2 guys watching?!!! including my friend Dustin. (laugh)
I also saw a few friends which I spoke later to when the concert did end and if I'm back to Japan someday, of course I will visit a concert again if I GET a chance!
I had the choice to buy their new CD without a purchase bonus at their LIVE or to get one in a indie store, however I did decide to buy it at the concert. It was the only thing I bough. Their stuff is a little bit too Pricey... Believe it or not, I didn't listen to this album at all in my hotel room, even if I did bring my DISC-MAN with me. (Why the hell did I carry it with me?!) Anyway even while arriving at home it took me 2-3 week?!! until I thought, OH let's check out the album of dieS... That's very rude somehow. (laugh)
Those who did listen to Victim before would say "oh this album sounds prety the same". At least that was my first thought and even after a few more plays I still think so. So they didn't really went a different way of sound. The new feeling is gone since its nothing really new. Of course it doesn't make the band bad, because why getting a new kind of sound if the past album sounded great to fans?! Well they could have added some new things inside this album, somehow I miss the amazing feeling. Even tho the songs are all played good and nice. For me its like an extension to the Victim album. As always I like Arase's voice a lot, it still has an unique feeling.
I can enjoy this album, but I don't feel the wow effect. So I did not fall in love with this album. But those songs are definitly enjoy live and you can dance while on most of the songs, because they are still rocking. also I like their ballads and slow songs much more on CD, even if they are live nice, I simple enjoy slow and ballads much more alone. (laugh) However I must say, you don't miss anything big if you decide to not check it out right away, still if you want to discover a good visual band who know how to play good music you have to check it out!!!
    Still rating:

Yes, even if you don't miss anything if you wouldn't listen to it. I still give it a 4 out of 5. Because dieS is a great band, they know how to play good music. Every song fits every rif every melody. This album also shows what kind of great band they are and that so many people underrate them so much. However I don't have a favorite song on this album. For me there isn't one who really plops out.

Please email me at [email protected] with how much shipping will be to have you two swap the CDs so I can paypal you the shipping. Regardless of if RarezHut is at fault, regardless of whether we have money to spare or not, I believe that providing good customer service is an essential and wholly non-optional part of running a business. This includes customer support after a sale is made.
While we are only two people (and for the physical parts such as ripping and shipping, only Biopanda) and do not have the infrastructure of companies such as Puresound or Amazon, it is our objective to not use this as an excuse and to continue to implement as many world-class strategies and techniques as possible. (six sigma, poka-yokes, etc) It's not an instantaneous process, and the occasional error will occur, but continual improvement is something that we firmly believe in. While we cannot always control errors such as what happened here, we can correct rather than ignore them.

    Let's start with D.I.D.

    From D.I.D support tumblr.
    and whoops it's shared....
But in how far should we care of bands wishes for not uploading their music. not uploading their live limited CD's etc?
Or should we really say to the bands "f*ck you it's 2015 now and it's impossible to ask if people won't upload it/share it"
So in how far should we have respect for the band?
In how far should we care to not be able to listen to a release? Should we really want everything?
In how far are they old fashioned?
Should bands gain their money with other merchandise/live gigs only? Should music actually be free?
    Edit.
And nope its not a debat, just share the thoughts, askings of bands who asked fans to not upload/share their work.
And if wanted you can share your opinion. But please don't debat.

BrenGun reacted to Karma’s Hat in [REVIEW] The GazettE - DOGMA
I marked it as a review just to keep some poor sap from clicking it thinking that it's the DL topic.

Didn't feel like waiting so here's some first impression that are likely to more or less remain as the final ones, because there's nothing really to particularly digest here for a seasoned gazette veteran - I would also be lying if I said that I didn't play the leaks multiple times throughout the course of the last few days. Imagine a ginormous abbreviated in my opinion in the beginning just in case I'll end up flip-flopping completely.

It's still the same Gazette on this album as the last one and the one before that. The riffs are still by all intends and purposes Gazette riffs, Ruki's still the same Ruki he's been since 2010 and drawing parallels between the BD and Dogma songs is very easy, but Dogma's thing is that everything has been jacked up. Ruki compensates the lull he's been for years now with the screams and growls he started using last year, while the music is undoubtedly their heaviest and fastest. I think there's an energy and momentum acquired here that they've been sorely missing from their tracks akin to these especially in the last album. It's conceptual and uncharacteristically thematically consistent for them, and the pace doesn't let up at all with not a single slower number -with the exception of the very last track - or a token ballad taking any space from the overall run time, and to my complete and utter amazement the obnoxious meat headed catastrophes like Psychopath and the below mentioned Beautiful Deformity songs are completely absent. It's their darkest and heaviest overall, also unarguably their corniest - but it's not really a bad thing because I think it has helped Dogma to be more fun than their other recent discography.

So regarding the general quality of work here, if you think some of the songs from here are bad then check out some of the bangers from the last one like THE STUPID TINY INSECT or whatever the one with the long name near the end was; those songs are so unfathomably banal it makes me wonder just how on earth did I ever give a passing grade to the album. It's the little improvements they've done here that keep the bar from ever ascending to the levels of their absolutely worst, although I wouldn't be caught dead ranking this as their best either.

At the end of the day it is an album full of the 2010's Gazette live bangers taken to the very extreme they'll probably ever be able to take it to. So even now when in effort to do this they've added a little metalcore to their bag of tricks, their own identity on this album is still unmistakable and these songs really couldn't be from any other band; this however is perhaps their greatest weakness also. A The Gazette song is such an established thing you can rest assured they're never ever going to divert from the set formula. I couldn't by any means call this album ambitious or anything of the sort, like as if they couldn't even sneak a few over the top breakdowns and shit in there somewhere? No they couldn't, because that's just not what The Gazette apparently does. Gazerock is a thing and I have my money on that not changing. However it does seem like they can slightly improve the facets of the things they are already doing. Even though a return to The Gazette of yore is what I hold the closest to my heart and I far prefer them being sappy instead of edgy, I'd like to think this album seems to like an essential step towards whatever is next. inb4 disbandment.
