Lin was arrested yesterday because he was in possession of canabis. Tomorrow's live is cancelled.  They also cancelled their event on 08/12 and the tour 「Monster Park」 in September.

All in-store events in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka are also cancelled.

I am gonna bet on Lin being fired from NB considering how much stigma revolves around cannabis in Japan.

Another chance for me to shill these fellas...

These guys unfortunately never managed to release more than a couple of singles, to my knowledge, which is a pity because they're GOOD. As far as I can tell this is literally the only song of theirs on Youtube

Naaaaah, there are more songs of them on youtube, such as

They released two singles, you can find both of them online even in 320 quality.

All of the songs are on this channel.

  3. I prefer Dimlim, but they will never be as popular as Kizu. Kizu already pull crowds that Dimlim can only dream of. I think it might have something to do with Kizu targeting female audience specifically, whereas Dimlim's music are more suited for males.

Personally, I believe that Dimlim would have achieven more in Japan had they dropped of the visual kei look.

The music are masterfully compose, but I still kinda let down by the vocalist KAZ. He seems can't do harsh vocal very well? From this album and LAST CALIX songs I listen to, every time he use harsh vocal need tons of effect to make it sound kinda "harsh". I just think some of the songs in this album would be even better if they add a little harsh vocals to spice it up.

This is exactly the feeling that I get. There were so many parts where harsh vocals would fit and make the songs even more versatile.

  5. Basically, Visual Kei stands on its own. We know about some transitions to Visual Key - Nokubura and Deviloof are examples of it. But we don't hear that much about guys who used to be visual kei and became (semi-) successfull in "normal" bands. Basically, most of those guys are virtually unheard of on MH.

There are several exceptions, though, notably:

    - Yeti - all of the member are from relatively famous j-rock bands. Except, they are quite unpopular based on what I heard :(

    - The drummer from "Brick Break" did everything well - he played in several metalcore bands before joining Abstracts. That it quite impressive - from Dear Dolce band to Abstracts is quite a jump.

Any others you might know about?
