Well the VARIOUS topics do keep things pretty entertaining but some of it makes me pretty MAD, K. Sometimes it just fills me with REGRET having checked the thread to begin with.

If you are talking about my last post, I was not being mean, I posted facts and explained why their statement was wrong. There are several other incorrect things they have stated in this thread  but I wasn't going to quote and discredit every single one because that would seem targetted. At the same time, when one person is continually stating things as fact that are wrong, continually correcting them (with source) is not picking on them, it's just correcting misinformation. If they stated "I think, but I'm not sure" it wouldn't be the same. If someone is going to state that a band definitely released something you know they didn't and even make fun of you for "not knowing about it" I don't see the harm in pointing out that it didn't happen. Again, didn't want others wasting their time looking for something that doesn't exist.
 
The only post I made that could be considered mean was my first post and I deleted it a few hours after posting it because I saw it didn't help and that they weren't going to change their behavior. The only reason it lives on is because zero quoted the entire thing; I can't delete that- they are free to do so if they want. I'm sorry you found my post mean. Hopefully someone found it helpful.

Pretty sure those were leftover copies they never sold at buppan. For the longest time they had like 10 copies of various and 2-3 copies of The Silent Song collecting dust because all their fans already bought copies and they very rarely got new people going.
I can say with confidence that they're not going to rerelease Various. They removed it from their discography because they want to erase their past. It's not like they even play those songs anymore. Last time they played anything pre-Chedoara was June 2019 where they played Innocent Passion, and the last time they played anything from Various was at their twoman with Deviloof in April 2019 where they played Joudo no Hana. Even at that point they mostly only played songs from Chedoara. 
 
You're still pretty new to this site and I erased a lot of my old posts so you probably don't know but I used to go to most of Dimlim's lives in 2018 and 2019 and share a lot of info here  since the band sucks at using social media.
(I don't follow them anymore so don't ask me what they're up to now. )

As for my post, you definitely read it, or at least skimmed it and as you do with every single logical post you can't argue, you chose to ignore it. That's totally fine, if you want me to TL;DR it for you it's pretty simple: you peddle a shit ton of incorrect info about the band when it's not your place to talk about them as though you know anything, you seem like a crazy fanatical thirsty chick who thinks she's having a weird subliminal relationship with Retsu through his Insta stories while Retsu is probably laughing his ass off at all your obsessive DMs and if you actually like the band, you would stop posting because you are making them look terrible. A band is mirrored by their fans and when there's a couple of unhinged crazies in the mix it seriously affects a band's image. If you JUST like the music there is no point boasting about your one-sided DMs and constantly white knighting them on here. If you "don't care" what people on here think then why even be on here at all? Just go listen to their music and stay off the forums then.

Trust me we would all love to have a never ending discussion about dimlim but it's really one sided right now. You need to actually try and engage with the community. It won't kill you to mingle with people who have a different opinion in a civilized manner.

So, I had plenty of time in the last half a year to listen to the entire Dimlim discography and I came to a conclusion that I would have preferred their last album to come out as a 2-3 songs maxi-single. "What's up", "Tick-tak" and some other song maybe.
 
Why? Well, Rijin was already a move into something not really metalcore or anything Dimlim used to be. And the two songs I mentioned above are sort of a nice continuation in that direction.
 
BUT. The whole album on it's own is a mess. All of the other songs have no memorable parts whatsover. The only thing I can recall from other songs is Sho's whiny "for the future" outro from the same song. And it's not because other songs are with complex structure or "math-rock" (hell no) inspired that makes it difficult to memorize. It simply is an uninspired pile of garbage that Lets for whatever "essense"-tial reasons decided to release as an album.

I just checked all the likes for their premi-ere-um live on twitter, and it's all vk-inclined Japanese people and weebs. Those mythical math rock fans were not present, so I guess they don't use twitter—or they could be off-the-grid too, so to speak, because they don't seem to play DIMLIM much on Spotify either, since all the artists that "the fans of this band like" are vk bands. Maybe the stats haven't updated yet idk
 
Lets brought this on himself with his complete lack of self-awareness and people skills. Their fans started making fun of them for not having a bassist only because Lets is doing his best to pretend that it's not an issue. One tweet going "we're looking for a new bassist please be patient kittekudasai and sunimaseenn" and no one would mention it ever again. 
Under normal circumstances I would have no sympathy for entitled gya either, but Lets should be aware that if you get backlash for something from the people you depend on, the solution is not to double down on everything that got you the backlash in the first place while blocking people left, right and center. I don't have anything against such an abrasive outsider art approach to PR either, but it's obvious that they still rely on those fans to even have a career. It's indisputable that all the people who bought their tickets in America are weebs and I won't listen to anything saying otherwise.
 
If he just made one self-deprecating tweet about this whole thing then it would all be over and people would stop shitting on them and go on waiting for new music, but no, Lets is his own biggest mark and he'll instead focus on the E S S E N C E, which is biting the hand that feeds you. People didn't shit on Yeti when Emiru moved on to play indie rock for a non-vk crowd. If they didn't do this shit and have their one-member street team here, then this topic would be dead. Now people are just enjoying the ride before it crashes.

They are more known for their experimental side and creativity, but they are more appreciated outside the vk fandom because some got butthurt they or their friends got blocked in sns or they stopped adhering to the vk aesthetics and marketing or how they kicked out of the band the least talented but hottest member lol. I'm saying this because those that are not vk fans that discovered them can only say wow or how outstanding their songs are and were wishing they dropped the makeup because they are too talented for the gimmicks lol.
