  1. Nazare is a hot mess but I love it. It's almost as if issei has cracked and no longer cares about coherent song writing at all. 'Let's just throw random shit into the song and hope it sounds cool.' Mio's completely over the top too and wouldn't work in any other band

I LOVE NAZARE since the beginning but i guess i'll never understand why people think their songs sound "messy"?

imo all their songs sound well composed and put together... óÔ

  2. "There's drama surrounding this live video." Does anyone know what it is or is that what they're going to tell us when it's released?

It's such a shame this got cancelled, it could've rivaled chedoara as vk metal album of the year. I'm still searching auction sites for basket case but having no luck, maybe one day. Also their stuff released as Jigenshiki:uadjet is really good too. Hekiraku no Satori especially shows the direction they were heading for.

Honestly this bands pretty bad but for some reason I can't stop listening to them everyday because I have bad taste. If they had a better vocalist and dropped the shitty rave-kei songs they'd be one of the best vk bands around imo. I like the songwriting much more than early dimlim.

First listen I was unimpressed but on my 4th listen now and it's pretty damn great.
  6. Tanishi

I really like the title track but the rest sounds like less dark ktk stuff (but not as good) with some quirky menhera stuff thrown in the mix. It would be interesting to see who composed most of it because none of it sounds like kazari who would be sort of wasted in this band playing this kind of music. I could be wrong though, still gonna look forward to what they do next because mei is great 🤔
  7. That slothreat ep is so good. Listened to it just about every day since it came out

1st listen i was kinda underwhelmed cuz there is no screaming at all (except for that one scream into the breakdown...) but something kept me going back again and again listening to it and i am totally in love with this release by now.

It is really disappointing because it's just about the best song they've done imo
  9. Tanishi

Lar~mia's self titled album (key party ultra rarez) and llll ligro's basket case which I thought would have come up on auction by now :(
  10. Tanishi

Funnily enough the messiness is what made me like it better, it makes it more engaging, at least to me than standard (even decently composed) deathcore.
  11. Tanishi

The new mini feels much better than the album imo, which is strange because I thought these were going to be b-sides or something
  12. What's up with the poop hat? It makes the video feel so surreal given the context. "So this is what a serious adult making a sincere apology looks like? I've learned something today."
  13. Really cool song. It would be nice to get an album or something soon, especially since it's their tenth anniversary tomorrow and they've announced nothing.
  14. Tanishi

It wasn't that bad. But there's no need to worry, Kazari will bring back the scrapped llll ligro songs for their first album and it will be aoty.
  15. Isn't that picture of Kyo from this recent Sukekiyo TV performance?
  16. Tanishi

Rongai na ikimono to shite is really great. I have a good feeling about this album if this is a leftover.
  17. Tanishi

A's tamashii no refrain cover from eva is really cool.
  18. Tanishi

Hopefully they remaster the main track and a b-side maybe for the album (that's eventually coming out r-r-r-right?)
  19. I've tried to get into this band so many times but to me they just feel like a worse version of DIAURA. I'm still going to check this out though because it shows some promise (like all they're stuff I guess though).
  20. I know it came out a few months back but Chanty's most recent mini is really good, much better than the album. I feel like they're much better in short bursts.

I was just re-listening the other day! It has a great opening track too :)

idk why, but it didn't really click with me, unfortunately :( I liked the album better

It didn't click with me at the start but I listened to it the other day and it was really cool. Well worth a relisten

I was tempted to turn the album off after two tracks but I kept at it and it was pretty alright. Judas is a really good track. Vocalist (definitely hearing the sho similarities) was the best part and he'll hopefully get better. I'd prefer the band to kick issei out and do a dimlim (probably like everyone else) but otherwise I just wish issei would try writing something that isn't deathcore for once. Edit: Just realised I listened to this on shuffle somehow so the first two sentences don't make much sense 😕

Hiro's been in the scene for 15 or so years and he can definitely sing good live. There's hardly any live footage but the last 40 seconds of this video shows what he can do. I agree with everything else you said though, he's not amazing or anything and the band feels like it's lacking something. Still gonna check out the album though.
  23. Tanishi

Yeah this is really good. I think the production is more on point than other recent kotokei bands. That guitar tone and the bass is really great how they mix in and out of each other. Good start to 2019.
  24. Does anyone remember when k-pop, vk and mozart combined?

yooooo, people here know of H.O.T?? they were the only group i listened to back in the day and i still feel nostalgic about them, haha. it's interesting how they had videos that were all bright and happy and then you see those dark and vk-like aesthetics in others.

also, i believe moon hee-joon had a solo project that sounded rather vk.
