Did INVICTA and INVISIBLE INDIVIDUAL get released anywhere (online or CD) apart from youtube? I would check the OHP but it's down already.
  2. Tanishi

Even big bands like X Japan do this. For smaller bands it is literally impossible.
  3. 20 minutes to go and they haven't posted a link yet... Edit: "※今回はライブの生配信はございません" - seems like there's no livestream this time

There's been lots of great stuff this year so far. DOF's Unintelligible won me over the most with it's catchy, technical, frantic and hugely creative songwriting. It's up there with insert memory as one of the most creative VK songs of the decade imo especially the '1234567 123456 .... 123 121 YOKU DEKIMASHITA' part. The whole album is filled with great tracks (like the one's listed here) though I do agree it's a little bit weaker then their other stuff which is essential listening. Kizu's track was also fantastic, just heavy, catchy and really high energy and LIME's performance is top notch. Can't wait for an album. 貴方だけを壊して飾ってみたい was my favorite track off Chanty's album and it's nice to see it on the list. There were some weak tracks on the album but it was solid (but they butchered m.o.b imo). IIII-Ligro's album has potential to be one of the most interesting albums of the year and that 爆烈ストーム song was nice. I need to check those out. And that Golden Bomber song is just too relatable. Nothing beats laughing at how much life sucks. I didn't expect that ending either. I guess it's time to spin it a few more times. Also would have included Buck-Tick's Salome -femme fatale- off their new album which is absolutely fantastic. And the first track off Pura's new album was cool too:
  5. It's on tomorrow (also you should probably edit your posts instead of double/triple posting).
  6. I am home tomorrow still so I will try to record it.
  7. The new Buck-Tick is fantastic. The song writing's really good (sasuga Buck-Tick) and there's so many layers and sounds happening at the same time. The electronics are a bit cheesy but they still make it work somehow. I think I like it more then their last album which was already really good.

      Spectralion

      couldn't agree more

  8. I thought they were doing well. Didn't their album get repressed twice?

I'm liking this band way more than I thought I would. Hopefully they can release an album this year. Edit: I think the main thing I like about them is how high energy they are. Lime's voice works well in doing this (though it's an acquired taste) and whoever is composing their music is doing a really good job writing the music to fit his voice.
  10. If it's at the same time as last time I'll try to record it (with jdownloader, hopefully it works). Someone else should try too though because trying to record livestreams always seems to fail. Edit: pls comment on this to remind me too

I live in Australia and shipping costs are really expensive so its hard to justify buying releases unless it's on itunes or something. But if the vk piracy scene died I would just buy the (relatively few) releases I'm interested in and share them on slsk (this is assuming jpopsuki is dead too). I'm lucky enough to live in a first world country so I would be able to do this. The main problem would be live limited releases which would completely fade out of existence to the West (or should I say more then they are now). The other problem would be there would be less discussion about bands/releases because many people wouldn't be able to listen to them and it would be harder sorting the bad from the good.

I hate BP Record's phobia of dynamic range.

Victim sounds like it could be pretty good

According to their newest two Facebook posts this is renamed to Malkioto and is coming out under a new band by $ali called Arzert (him and a guy called toku). It will be deathcore/ atmospheric black metal apparently and $ali said releasing it under the name IX -NINE- would be not be appropriate . Release date: 19.07.18 Track list: Ⅰ.MALKIOTO1 Ⅱ.MALKIOTO2 Ⅲ.MALKIOTO3 Ⅳ.MALKIOTO4 Ⅴ.MALKIOTO5 Ⅵ.MALKIOTO6 Ⅶ.MALKIOTO7 Ⅷ.MALKIOTO8 Ⅸ.MALKIOTO9 X.MALKIOTO10 XⅠ.MALKIOTO11 XⅡ.MALKIOTO12 Sample: https://arzert.bandcamp.com/releases

For meditation there's lots of different types but they all centre around the same thing. Just pick a type and google a tutorial for the type that catches your interest. It's not complicated you just have to remember the general idea is to clear your mind of thoughts. https://visualmeditation.co/7-types-of-meditation/ As for kaizen its a really simple philosophy the key being when starting a project start embarrassingly small. ie if you wanted to start going to the gym, instead of buying a gym membership the first day you would do literally one rep with a dumbbell. This is a good video too:

My way of dealing with it was to develop an iron will through meditation, will strengthening exercises and the Japanese concept of 'kaizen' (seriously google this). Now at every moment of the day I am using these concepts for working on ways to make my life better and avoiding thinking about any negatives aspects of my life. Right now I am learning Japanese, writing a book, and going to the gym which are my three main hobbies. The hardest part is at work because work sucks but I am using willpower to apply for other jobs and meditation has helped trained my mind to avoid thinking of work outside of work hours. I guess it is just distracting myself but that's how most adults live anyway and if that distraction can lead to a positive outcome then it is definitely a good thing. I know this different from how most people deal with it but the first step is to work out if your depression is a chemical imbalance or caused by your life sucking. If its the former I don't have much advice except see a professional. This is coming from a guy who was a NEET for over a year and has been depressed for years. Since about June I have been mostly happy.
  18. Reincarnation is one of my favorite VK releases of the decade but I thought the quality would decline fast. But somehow they keep on delivering. Great song.

last scene, continued for me. I really wish I could go to this.
  20. Japanese - Gazette - Develop One's Faculties - Gallo (hopefully) - ZigZag (likely) - Yasutaka Nakata (probably will be average) - Buck Tick Western - Tenhi (very very likely AOTY) - Portal - Blut Aus Nord - Swans (if not this year then next) - Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows I'm sure I've forgot heaps. Most my favorite western artists release really infrequently these days so I don't really follow them as closely.

If every song is as good as undying it will be my aoty. But it won't be. I'm really feeling the cognitive dissonance of being really hyped for the album while at the same time knowing there is a near 100% chance it will disappoint. It's a never ending cycle with me and the gazette.

That's what I hoped Arche was going sound like before Rinkaku came out (I really like Rinkaku though). They could have combined their sound on DSS with a ripped off Deathspell Omega sound and it would've been amazing. Though they are a mainstream metal band so I can understand why they followed it up with something more accessible. Only that DSS showed so much potential but left much to be desired and I was hoping the follow up would correct it's flaws. Arche is alright though.
  23. I've never heard of any of his bands but I like this guy.
  24. Tanishi

Is the deluxe US version of DSS meant to have a small 3 second hidden drum track between The Blossoming Beelzebub and Different Sense? I don't remember it being there in the Japanese version.
