His crime is not being Japanese... I agree with you he has some decent songs. There's much cringier/objectively shit stuff within "Japanese visual kei"

I avoided D because for some reason I grouped them with Versailles and other bands that roleplay time periods. Not my kind of thing, but tturns out the sound is a lot more palatable than Versailles.

Oh, don't worry. The stand battles become far more interesting later on, especially when the stand abilities (or the abilities' applications) start to become a bit more esoteric and 'out there'.
 
I'm gonna be honest and say that the 'road trip' half of Stardust Crusaders is plagued by a whole bunch of extremely obvious filler and it's definitely a step down compared to BT. Most of the two-parters are good though, and overall the second half of Part 3 is great IMO 

@platy i know lol but the transition from Part 3 -> Part 4 comes with a pretty significant change in aesthetics in general (a bit more gradual in the manga than in the anime - first part of DIU's manga still kinda keeps the SC aesthetic). As Manabu said things become a lot more colorful - the characters' general designs become a bit more wild and the anime adaptation especially is VERY colorful and somewhat stylized. It's definitely a  complete 180 in terms of vibe and feel
 
(I do have to say that as far as I remember it Part 3's more well-animated than Part 4 though but iirc they did end up at least sort of fixing some of 4's more questionable ''QUALITY'' moments for the blu-ray release)

TBH this is when Araki was really finding his style (as were the studio producing it) and you can see he wanted to bring something new as well as keep some of the elements from Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency so it can be a bit hit or miss.
The art style is quite divisive but once you hit season 4-5 it gets a lot more colourful and has a more fun feel to it. 

Jolyne and Johnny are my favourites, I'd suggest reading the coloured versions of the manga as well.
You could skip a few episodes in Stardust Crusaders because the story is quite simple, there's no filler but you'll miss out on some great fights and character moments.

After you finish the anime, be sure to read the manga! The parts that haven't been animated yet are much better.

I'd say definitely watch every episode, cuz even the few filler-ish ones are entertaining as hell, especially in Stardust Crusaders (although actually I don't remember there being much filler to begin with). I can't rly say for the latter seasons, as I stopped watching Diamond Is Unbreakable after the first few eps (I wasn't feeling it).

Can't think of any but as soon as I read "Inuyasha" I heard the guitars in Fukai Mori and now I'm going through Do As Infinity's discography.

From someone who hasn't played the original, the PTSD + story alterations are a bit weird, the Eng. version sometimes has this corny "Top Gun"-like dialogue, and the game is really fucking horny (in an oddly charming way, at least.) All that said, the worldbuilding is phenomenal, crazy attention to detail, and it feels really cinematic. 
 
I really don't like Midgar's grungy, industrial aesthetic, but the other positives I mentioned might convince me to buy it if it's ported to PC.

Ummm it sounds great but I'm not really liking this alternative time line, story fixin thing... Inb4 Aerith stays alive.

from what i've seen the storyline has somewhat been altered at multiple points and there's these weird goofy-ass time ghosts that pop up whenever stuff happens that isn't ''canon'' to the original ps1 game's events  (i.e. characters dying in the remake's events who aren't supposed to die in the original game etc) in order to 'fix' the timeline

A lot of fun to play, combat is fluid and it looks beautiful, even characters like Biggs and Jessie are a bit more fleshed out. Characters have unique abilities, voice acting and the interactions are done really well and quite believable.
My bad, should've been more specific, towards the end of the disc there is talk of alternative dimensions/realities 

My brother said it's a perfect game however it's a pity that the first part goes until the end of Midgar.
But for the rest he loves it.
The game is already rated as the best current game.
 
And my mother, 72 years old, also loves it an can play it easy too. 
 
So get it if you didn't bought it yet, you won't regret.
