Have y'all seen the controversial Gillette ad? What do you think? Are men not used to progressive messages aimed at themselves? Personally, I think although a little cliché, it isn't a bad advert.

I've never seen this ad before, but personally, I think it feels like a cynical way for a major corporation to make money out of an important social issue by condensing it into a barely 2 minutes long commercial, which necessitates you to simplify a very complex and not very black/white issue to a level that I can see being offensive to people.

@WhirlingBlack I see. Women's skincare products such as Dove have been doing this kind of thing for a long time. I wonder how Gillette could've approached this better but still with a positive message
