I'm saying DEG doesn't drop new material every year and they often have large gaps in between releases. And with all the touring they've been doing along with the various side projects going on, it's really not all that surprising.

arche probably performed worse than expected, and they're giving fan thirst an opportunity to grow stronger in the absence of new music.
they just don't go the same route as other bands announcing "D≠ee will go on hiatus from Feb., 15 to August, 21, best-off collection still available @ selected tower records stores!!", and it's not the first album they're cooking for longer than expected.

Normally I would say, "plenty of bands release best albums without disbanding," but in Grieva's case I've been a little worried lately anyway.

wowowowowowowowoow. this is super fascinating, especially since i think a lot of the members have been quite inactive. i always wished kaworu joined a new band, but its been 10 years of inactivity.
rip teru, tho he probably couldnt justify the stress of relearning a bunch of tunes on top of the ridiculous amount of complex guitar work already stored in his mind from his two main bands.
edit: nvmnd, teru said on twitter hes not playing because hes touring with versailles in south america
