Far as I know that’s a Tanuki rumor and there’s been a million of those lately so I wouldn’t take stock in it. They’ve been guessing everything from that to Tsuzuku and Koichi having a feud over a girl.

I make mine with Photoshop CC (you can always download a free 30 days trial to try it out, if you'd like), but waay before that I did them in Gimp (it's free!), but not sure how that works nowadays. 

ugh it was such a long time ago so I don't really remember, all I remember is that I had to use old iMovie to make screencaps/frames from the video before I could put them in Gimp. while we're on this topic, i also don't get:
- why there's still the weird division dictating that guys must be into vk as "ongen-gyao" who only collect cds, and girls only go to lives to swoon over hot bandmen
- why the former is somehow usually conceived as more superior to the latter.... almost every guy who's an armchair connoisseur of vk i've encountered exudes the insufferable air of making themselves sound like consumers of vk who are more sophisticated than "those bangyas over there" aka the "necessary evil" that keeps the scene afloat
- why the two are even mutually exclusive in the first place, as if being into the bandmen themselves somehow diminishes or effaces one's ability to appreciate/talk about music intelligently
 ...and i can go on.
 
basically i feel that people (mostly guys, but also girls who are concerned with being viewed a certain way) who actually have the money to spare AND want to participate are given pause because of these problematic assumptions. i've been saizen for bands (mostly very small) and have no problems with the girls or the bandmen themselves so i can't help thinking a lot of these strange ideas are self-imposed. people should just enjoy the scene in whatever way they want (yes, even if you're a guy who go to lives to fantasize about bandmen - what's wrong with that??), instead of losing sleep over what the bangyas in the same row are potentially gossiping about you.

The majority of the japanese fans are indeed girls/women, that being said - there still exists male fans. They're called ギャ男 (gyao, slang for bangya + boy). I have some japanese gyao friends who I've been to lives with and it's usually very fun. Of course it all depends on the band as well, I've never seen nokubura live but from what I've heard they have a big male audience for a vk band (probably because of their heavy music), when I attended a Avelcain boys only live one of my gyao friends told me most guys there was gay (he's gay himself as well), and for some reason I think that's the case a lot of the time. Also the fact that boys only live exists proves that there is indeed male fans. 
 
But to answer your question: yes, most japanese men (and women) dislike visual kei. It's a small and niched scene.

He's not wrong though, they actually had to ask people to not record their shows and people ignored them still. Rules are rules, and if they're broken, the band have every right to think we're disrespectful

I know this thread has been on the forum for a good while now, and I didn't understand it when it was first posted and I don't understand it now. Do you guys seriously need a support group for not finding VK likeable anymore? Or what is this about? I'm about this full of people constantly whining about how "current VK bands aren't good" or "I've realised VK sucks" or "I've just moved on". (And by constantly I mean multiple times throughout years, not necessarily all the time every day. ) OK, that's great. Good for you. But do you need to be telling everyone else about it? Why do you feel the need to come amongst people, who most likely are still into that stuff, in some way or another, and just tell them that you're not that into it? Do you think anyone cares? 
 
Damn this forum sometimes. Makes me wish there was a therapy moderator who'd just listen to people's whining so they wouldn't have to come on the forum to do that. 

I feel like people cling to the older bands and don't even give new bands a shot. I've done the same thing in the past but I feel like if you really do like VK you'll do your research and find something new you like. There's a lot of shitty techno bands but there are some good bands out there that get overlooked.

I still can't accept the disbandment of 少年記. They were so good, and had so much potential. Their new band is good and all, but I miss Rei. DIV disbanding got me sad too, I've some memories with them since seeing them live so it's hard to accept that they aren't together anymore. However, since I preferred ZERO ONE over their releases after it I am kinda happy about Acme, even if it's weird without Chobi and Satoshi.

It was the BEST DAY EVER. I've cried a lot.
 
Anyway, Shuuta couldn't really move because of his traffic accident, so they said they want to play it again so he can make a 100% concert.

Quick update on Shuuta, who was involved in an accident just two months ago - he's well enough to stand (with crutches) and rehearse with the band 👍
 
 

I didn't believe it when I hear it few hours ago when it broke the social media.
And it is still hard to believe now that I know it's real.
This is too painful because my youth pretty much filled with his bands music among others.
His music saved me from self harm and suicidal tendencies that I have got when I was a teen.
Mental health issues is no joke, I hope more and more people realize this
I survived, I only he wish he could have too.  Rest In Peace.
 

This hit me really hard. I've had a really hard struggle with mental illness my whole life and Linkin Park was such an important band for me as a kid. I felt really alone in my feelings until I heard them. 

Jesus. Out of all celebrity musicians who have passed, I’m honestly taking this one the hardest. I remember jamming to Hybrid Theory on repeat in HS and having my mom preorder Meteora for me. They were most definitely what got me into rock aside from Dir En Grey. 
 
I even remember jamming with my “first boyfriend” in HS to Reanimation driving around in his car. 
 
This is is so completely out of left field. I didn’t realize his drug and alcohol problems were that bad. And I didn’t really know he was mentally ill. 
 
I guess losing his best friend, Chris Cornell, not even two months ago really set him over the edge. Not even mentioning that Chester even passed away on Chris’ birthday. 
 
This is is so fucked. For real. It doesn’t seem real and I can’t even imagine what his children are thinking let alone his band mates - especially Mike.
