Finally saw John Wick 2 this weekend. Very good sequel.
Glad to see the man can still perform his own stunts. Hard to do in your 50's.
 
My thought were as follows.
 

This makes me not want to listen to the album even more. I don't see any point in changing old songs.

I would rather have a new release. It has almost been a year since UNDYING.

I may have had a bit of a falling out with them, but they're #stillmyboi even in defeat so today I'll bang Godzette all day. First going to riffle through the last DVD that I never bothered checking out, then hit the Stacked era B-sides and finally do the first two DVD's straight. Aside from that I'll do miscellaneous tracks from here than there that I haven't listened to that much. I wish I had beer to do this with in anticipation of today's setlist.

Yeah, mostly older things.
I think "PLEDGE" and "Untitled" were probably the most unnecessary ones as they are fairly new. On the other hand, I'd be excited to hear things such as "Nakigahara", "Dim Scene" or "Okuribi" re-recorded...

Oni no men live from I don't know where. It says judgement day, but I'm fairly positive that it is not included on the DVD, at least the press I have. Plenty of other old gazette attractions on that channel as well, like an old bootleg recording of a show from 2003. God bless youtube.
 
 

I think I 'd like to point out something everyone here has seem to have overlooked. This is a Japanese music forum correct? Could this be a reason for the preferences and biases mentioned in this thread? Also from my personal experience American's tend to do the same with music of other languages and almost seem to only enjoy a band if they speak English but as mentioned here perhaps that in itself is also merely a  "phonetic" preference on their part. But let's assume we were on an American music forum. Would you not expect the same type of biases?

I'd like to visit San Luis Potosi or Oaxaca, but I would be satisfied with visiting anywhere just to be able to say that I have been to Mexico.

Rentrer en Soi, D'espairs Ray and Kagrra are like, my main trio, so the choice is tough. I miss them all, but I think my voice goes to Kagrra.  I know there's Kiryu around, and argument could be made that they have a band going into their steps but.... colorful kimonos isn't what made Kagrra awesome. Kiryu went completely different way musically. What I miss about Kagrra is that unique elegance in blending beautiful singing voice and melodies incorporating traditional japanese elements.  I'm probably getting old, but their "softness" is also what I miss and can't find anywhere.

The bands I used to listen to (lynch, Dir En Grey, MUCC, Merry, X, the GazettE) are still alive and kicking in Japan. Google trends might just display the interest over time, and the trends change whether we like it or not >_>
