Added two more! Interesting story about Sammy. My translator was acting absolutely idiotic that day I reached out to him, and he actually went out of his way to communicate with me through the shitty translations I was sending. A totally cool guy. Thankfully, when I got to reach out to Yosuke, my translator was back to normal lol.

Never really liked Matina all that much, to be honest, although I used to enjoy Mist of Rouge and Lavender a good bit. Das:Vasser can be cool too.

Bold opinion: ZELDA (pre-1991) is the greatest all-female band ever. Fuckin adore them... well, up to their reggae era lol.

Ohh yeah, and I, for the life of me, cannot understand the appeal of Kate Bush. I checked her out in depth with one of my friends who’s a music nerd too, and we were both utterly lost. Her music sounds obnoxiously vain, especially on her supposed 1985 “masterpiece” “Hounds of Love”, and in her earlier work, she sounds like a hyena getting impaled. ....Aaaaand I’ve got my proximity suit on in preparation for what might come my way lol.

Not Japanese at all, but I always loved Limp Bizkit, aaaand... yeah, a lot of people hate them lol. As far as Japanese bands go, I looooove me some Sharan Q. No one really hates them per-se, at least that I know, but I only talked to a few Japanese folks that actually take em serious lol.

Okay, sooo... there’s this one VK band called Rasen from the 90s that supposedly formed in 1997, and released a demo tape that year. But according to Shoxx, that demo tape wasn’t released until November of 1999. And on top of that, someone supposedly has a copy that talks about a live in 1997. Brain... rape lol.

Elekki Bran’s really, really good, and their flamboyant image is VK-esqued. Their first three albums in particular are amazing shoegaze-pop. KRUITZ, LOOPUS and modern grey are amazing too.
