My name's Sara, I am from Austria and I listen to J-Rock since more than ten years now It all started with Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois (they're still and probably forever my favourites), other than that I adore Mejibray and The Black Swan and lots of other very Indie Bands (Fixer, DAMY, グリーヴァ and ゴシップ, for example).
 
I've been to Japan two times now (2014 and 2015) and I'll go back in Winter 2017.
 
Well... Now I'm running out of ideas what else to tell Feel free to ask if you wanna know something, I won't bite

So I just randomly got this idea of a worldwide tour featuring a lot of the really good EroguroKei and AnguraKei bands. Specifically, I'd really like to see Inugami Circus Dan, Caligari, Sex Android, Kuroyuri To Kage, Ningen Isu, Orochi, Kiryu, and R-Shitei. I mean, all these bands have seemed to have influenced eachother, and use similar elements (Yes, I have found similarities between Kuroyuri To Kage and Ningen Isu xD) so why not all tour together?
 

Guilty pleasures, we all have them. We all at least have one guilty pleasure Vkei band. Personally, mine is Grieva, because I'm a Dir En Grey fan, and I know a lot of Grieva songs are copies of Dir En Grey songs, but some I just can't help but like even better than the original Diru version. Like, the song Wish, I like it better than I'll simply because when I'll was made, Kyo was at the stage where he sang through his throat, which just didn't sound right. 
So, which band is your guilty pleasure? I won't judge. 
(Also, may I request, please don't flame someone or say mean things to them because of their guilty pleasure band. Let's keep things peaceful!)

For the games it would be Heroes of Might and Magic (third game in a series is my all-time favorite), Chrono Trigger, TESIII: Morrowind and Undertale. I also use NES and SNES emulators for my gaming needs. XD
 
As for my taste, outside VK I enjoy bands like avengers in sci-fi, HaKU and The Flickers, sometimes OOR and My First Story. Outside Jmusic I like White Lies, Bring me the Horizon, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, AFI and more.

I've been a fan of Japanese music (mostly VK) for a few years. I'm a big fan of DIV, Alice Nine, Moran, heidi., vistlip, Kagrra,, UNiTE., Purple Stone, Gothcarocka and Alsdead.
 
Aside from that my interests involve drawing, video games (especially the old ones), and some western music. I'm also learning Japanese but I'm still a beginner. xD

Having use the forum for a while now but I never introduce myself. Main reason is because it's quite hard to participate actively in a foreign language ^^
Anyway, I'm kawa from France and I'm 24. I've been listening VK since something like 10 years but the "passion" is decreasing years after years. I'm not as interested in new bands than I was years ago.

@doombox first time listening to abstracts, now I gotta dig through their stuff! great harsh vocals, on point guitar lines, scratching my djenty itch on the right spot! that oral cigarettes is SWEET too!
 
@hirokithat's some catchy tune by Blu-BiLLioN! I too feel Mike's vocals have evolved from his riotts days, he is much more "inside the range" he should be, if you get what I mean. He used to be a bit off when going high pitch, and now it just feels right!
 
TBS tracks makes me wanna catch back with their catalog, havent listened to them since the first few singles, and seems I'm missing some good stuff.... Mejibray, Sioux, siraph tracks are real solid aswell!

@beni - That DECO song is actually really cool. I just wish I could actually appreciate the vocaloid aspect of it. Asaco Nasu Yurika Sugie are trademark benicore.

@doombox- dem riffz on that abstracts song are fucking great. I'm not sure about the vocals in Kidori Kidori, but the music is super nice. I swear ORAL CIGs could easily be VK if they wanted to, ahaha.
 
@emmny- Tsuzuku's voice is so....offputting to me, and somehow this song seems to grow on me with each listen???? ugh. The music for that BLACK SWAN song is really great, but I'm still not used to Jin's voice. XD
 
@fitear1590- awesome lineup for that dresscodes song. Nikaho Yoshio  sounds really nice. I love this kind of psych-folk stuff. It vaguely reminds me of stuff like

@tetsu_sama69- I have the same issue with that other TBS song, the music/songwriting sounds good, but I just have issues getting over Jin's voice XD. That MIZTAVLA song is p cool. Never heard of them before, but it vaguely reminds me of the gazette.

Anyway, on that latest All-Stars, I am still deeply affected by the obvious strings being pulled business. Alyssa and/or Tatianna not, AT LEAST, being in the top 3 pains me to no end.

its half way through the season so its safe to assume that everything on here will be a spoiler to everyone who hasnt seen season 7 yet (and probably 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and ^) so thread carefully
 
i think its safe to assume the use of spoiler tags for the recent episode until the next episode (so spoiler tags for ep7 until ep 8 comes out then talk freely) which gives everyone at least a week for a chance to catch up!

Hey, Just thought I'd introduce myself. 
 
I have been listening to Visual kei/J-Rock for over a decade now. 
My current favourites are Mejibray, The Gallo, Dadaroma, D among others
and some older bands such as Megaromania, Malice Mizer, Vior gloire etc.
 
Aside from Japanese music I also like drawing, writing and listening to a few western bands, my favourite of which is The Rasmus.
