"Cosa preziosa" (precious thing) is italian. "Persona grata" works both in latin (welcomed person) than in italian (thankful person).

Shocked. Hitorie was one of the few Japanese indie rock bands I followed with pleasure... so sad...

Yeah...this one definitely cuts deep for me...Wowaka was one of my favorite Japanese musicians/composers, and I placed him amongst the likes of TK from ling tosite sigure, and Yoshimasa Terui of Haisuinonasa and Siraph. Everything about the music he made was absolutely singular, from his vocal style to his composing and songwriting. His sense of melody was fucking out of this world.
 
I highly doubt that HITORIE will be able to continue without him (since he kinda WAS the band), but they did leave us with a fantastic last album and a wonderful body of work. Imma miss wowaka. This is a huge loss for me, so I can only imagine what his bandmates, family, and friends are going through...

Didn't expect they'd release a new EP so fast

I'll search for a song I like on YouTube then click on the playlist suggested by the song. Or I'll go on Spotify and listen to an artist's radio, which is the same as shuffling through similar music by other artists. Sometimes I'll look through download blogs or just the news section here.

The same way you used to. It means I often end up listening to bands I've already heard of way after everyone else started following them, which embarrasses me for some reason. Idk about you, but fsr I'm always embarrassed to start things late and get into them after everyone else. I'm always really slow on the uptake, but I don't like to be 😕

I'll go dig my way through the news section first ~ 

My main interests are J-music (okay, mostly VK), extreme metal and gothy/post-punky stuff. For the first I use MH, for the others I use websites like Cvltnation, NoCleanSinging and random music related groups I'm a member of on Facebook.
 
Anything that doesn't fall into these categories I just stumble upon, by accident.  

Checking the News section once in a while is always the safest bet. No need to go rummaging through Twitter or random YouTube recommendations.

I have several methods, apart from YT suggestions; Lastfm correlations, checking the releases lists week per week on CdJapan or other sites, reading reviews of similiar bands to the ones I listen usually and this forum helped me discovering some, through the official reviews or simply a translation of a song...

I thought it was Miya doing backing vocals, but i'm not 100% sure
