I like is a sort of agreement, when people liked that comment they agreed with it, they accepted it, which is wrong because it was a poor and stupid comment to make and I'm surprised that with the many immature people here who love to jump all over people and tear them apart at every breath that no one decided to do the same to this guy.
 
Suppose it goes to show that it's really just people all over serving their own agenda, so even if the comment they're liking is moronic or senseless, they like it anyway because it's essentially an argument for their side.

Also, I'm slightly leaning towards hoping them to disband, only because I want to see Ice going back to being Eros and doing something like XodiacK again, but better and hopefully without all the band-mate woes.

I can also respect differing opinions too, and I don't care about the band in question, but the fact they put "NEW MERRY PV" in big caps and intentionally put up another video is just spam. Like the way yall got onto me about my big sig earlier, big caps advertising something false is not necessary either, and none of us fans care about that garbage when reading up on this thread. And it's a mod too...a sad example of one on this site. :///

I didn't really get into either album all that much, but after listening to Monster again just last night, this is what I can say.
I don't remember much of it (I was awake enough too).
I haven't listened to Music for a good 2 years and I still remember most songs off of it.
 
Even though it fell short in my opinion, Music still had pretty catchy chorus'/break downs with songs like 'evolution', 'Break Down', 'Ultimate 4', 'asking why', and (to a certain extent) 'ishtar'. It was a re-hash of their Self-Titled with more digital flair while still keeping the catchines (Heck, I remember NOW better than Monster)
 
The only track Monster had me like was 'antlion pit' (although 'Incomplete' and the singles had pretty catchy chorus'. Just not my cup of tea).
Throughout the album I remember there being really cool riffs or electronic bits, but no real hooks or chorus' that, like Ito said, were memorable. Because of that it's difficult to put identities to individual songs. 
In the spirit of Halloween, it's more like a bag of mixed candies: It doesn't really matter what you pick up because they all start to taste the same. Except for the King-Sized candies some people give out. You keep those in a separate box. That's like 'antlion pit'. So basically, Halloween for Monster sucked and it only got one King-Sized candy.
Maybe better luck next year.

While Music is hardly a fantastic album, I still enjoy it. On the other end, Monster isn't bad either, but it was entirely forgettable. Sure it wasn't the abominations that were NOW and GO and was most certainly a step in the right direction, it didn't stop it from being bland and forgettable. I don't remember a single song off of Monster and haven't be compelled to spinning again after its initial release (and Gravitation is so much better that it is makes Monster obsolete imo) while I can still think back Music and actually can remember the songs in my head.
That and I love the weird ass instrumental track before Puzzle on Music.

I honestly can't decide between the 2nd and 3rd answer. I chose the 3rd one in the end, because that's the time of an overlapping of pre-existing bands (roughly since late 1990) having their greatest time, and a lot of good newer bands showing up. (not counting in these copy-paste neo vk bands like diaura, mejibray, screw etc...)
 
the time when girugamesh, an cafe, Dir en grey, Phantasmagoria, lynch, Deathgaze, D etc pp had their strongest outlets.
