Jeez, what a hideous album art.

 

+ Never liked Mio's clean vocals, he uses too much vibrato which doesn't fit the heavy low tuned guitars. His voice would fit with a band like Matenrou Opera way better, the dude legit ruins Nazare for me. This band with Dadaroma's vocals would have been 10/10.

Besides 2-3 songs from their first album, 駁-baku- from their 荊海 CODA single is somehow the only song that I can really remember from them and would praise them for. I hope they would do something like that song again.

New PV song just sounds like a slight variation of what they did before. That guitar shredding is just SO boring. Are there any people on this planet anymore that can actually enjoy that crap except guitar otakus?

There's few moments during the song that are pretty good and I like the traditional sound they added here and there but overall it's too messy and the guitar shredding is just annoying and boring at this point

I quite like it. The messyness is a big reason I like this band and the chorus is good. But I'm really over that chugging they seem to have on 2/3s of their songs, it's gotten really boring at this point.

they are basically already morphing into late sadie while having no really well produced releases to their name and this sounds like a bunch of random demos and electronic sounds stacked on top of each other with ugly ghoul layering his wheezy vocal warmups on top

 

between current over-produced mess that are kizu etc and this bedroom record session mediocrity this is somehow worse because of like zero likeable things about their composition, their range, their incoherent and amateurish looks

I really want to hear NEMOPHILA, but almost all of NAZARE's songs sound so similar to me.  Most of the time it just seems like an attempt by Issei to look pretty brutal.  As if he was trying and trying to use the formula that worked with DIMLIM in Aharewata...

 

Mio has so much potential to keep doing the same type of vocal all the time.

Some thoughts after my first full listen to both discs.

-It's more of the same.

-if you like their other stuff you'll enjoy this.

 -It's a bit longer than it needs to be.

-The guitar starts getting so repetitive it starts to get annoying.

-Yoh should be nowhere near a mic.

-Uta's voice is suited for an Alt Rock band.

-Issei can sing/scream/growl, etc. 🤯.

 

Overall, DIMLIM have nothing to worry about, even without a bassist.

Your opinion is respectable ... but after many listening it seems to me a masterpiece. It sounds like pure Nazare.

For me, Nazare is a much better band than DIMLIM currently. Greetings

Tbh agreed even as someone who just typically goes for the heavier and more brutal stuff I actually still think misc is better than this
