If it weren't for the fact that you have to exchange the voucher for 0 at a live venue, I'd just buy all three types and try to get a copy of 0 by mail.

Also, I'm curious, has it been confirmed that M-Card downloads are only accessible in Japan? Has anyone outside of Japan tried redeeming an M-Card on filthy gaijin soil?

I had a friend pick two of them up for me at a heidi. live for me when their Nijiiro Rain single came out in 2016 and I was able to download the files alright (I'm in Canada), but the description for this on CDJapan's website is freaking me out:

"Important Notes for M Card: No refund is possible after this product is sent. The record company designed and optimize it for the market within Japan. They do not guarantee that it works outside of Japan."

I'm a little cautious about this one, honestly. I don't like the fact that it's non-refundable, though I get why UGH I really want to get it though

What do you guys think so far?

Based on the samples so far:

Camera Obscura sounds like something that could have been released on Dai 6 or Dai 7, something about the synths maybe? I dunno. Anyway, I like it!

Machine Gun Lullaby, Tengoku de matteru and Haikei=BGM I'm a bit less sold on, I don't know what it is about them, but I'm feeling like they're not really doing anything impressive there. Of the three I like Machine Gun the most - Tengoku de matteru is kind of dangerously veering close to  'cliché VK 'swing' song' territory at the start and Haikei=BGM just sounds generic (the bassline is quite neat tho)

Hiensoukyoku's audio quality sounds like shit at the start, but i'm pretty sure that's just the compression of the sample.. The song itself sounds interesting. Sample after that sounds good, but it kinda feels like a 'been there, done that' Ao song.

Getsuhaku is probably my favorite one of the batch so far, reminds me of the more experimental tracks on 8. Kasou Yuugi sounds like it's probably gonna be the token short, fast-paced track of the album.

 

Overall, I can't say I really DISLIKE anything I'm hearing here, but I have a feeling I'll end up liking this one less than 13

This is kinda where I'm at right now too. We'll see. I really loved 13 tho, so it would be pretty hard to top that to begin with, so... yeah.

I gotta be honest, I don't like the first one, not one bit. xD So syrupy and happy-go-lucky. Second one was kinda meh/average. I hope the album won't end on a lame note. ;< So far this whole thing is a huge mixed bag, tho I'm still really looking forward to hearing the whole thing ofc.

The second one sounds fine to me, but yeah.. I'm not feeling that other one at all either. My hype for this album has kinda slipped based on these samples tbh (although then again, 11 initially disappointed me too but it ended up growing on me even though a lot of people seem to think it's their weakest so far)

Sounds like a step back for them. A little bit of 13, a little bit of the more synth driven early post-reunion material. It sounds pleasant, but definitely them sticking to a mode and the surprises in store are just call-backs to something from before like track 7 reminding me of 8.

I see it selling in mercari and yahoo auctions for 8000yen onwards; the CD cover is randomly one of the 3 members photos as seen in Aoi's post. I think that would encourage people to buy more copies to trade/get one with their favourite member's photo?
