I don't know about that stuff, but it sounds so much like they sound on CD that I have zero interest. It's such a shame because I've been waiting for some live footage from them for ages. I just prefer those rickety bonus DVD's where the quality is kind of like this

If so, it was just added for the DVD. Watching the trailer, this looks and sounds A LOT better than the live actually was (still was great tho). The cutting adds a lot i feel.

 

And i wonder if they just include like the first half of the show on the DVD since his voice couldnt handle 2 h live and became worse and worse with time.

Btw does any actual unedited live footage of them exist anywhere aside from this clip? All I've seen have been those fucking useless live footage with the recorded music on top type of deals

That live footage was quite impressive, actually! I was expecting an AvelCain-caliber mess, but it was rather on point. I'm still unsure about actually buying the release because of the CD content. I don't like that they aren't including 異常な階段, and are leaving out 眩暈 (yes, it's a Garnet cover with different lyrics, but I like it) and Chemical Drip Cherry Pie. If they wanted two more songs to trash from the comp, they could have chosen リリィさんの美容整形術 and 告白.

 

 

or they could have left in *all* songs, intros aside

Apologies for hijacking this thread but I read from tanuki that DEZERT has ripped off MERRY & cali gari and I was wondering which songs are they referring to. Does anyone who has intensive knowledge of these bands think the same way?

 

If this question is inappropriate, I'll delete it and create a separate thread in the 'general' section instead.

Thanks for the advice and general consensus that everyone knows DEZERT's ripping XD I wonder if DEZERT would actually play songs ripping off cali gari in the upcoming 3-man they are in hah! i dont know what to make of this, its an awesome song but they've completely lost their early 2000's edge for a metalcore-y presentation thats been festering since ohayou, so its nothing new and kind of expected considering they're basically as popular as a major band
