Hey guys! As some of you know, I've been working on some music with a fellow MH member.

 

I present to you "Zero One Complex!" 

 

Long story short, we're a Hard rock duo who draws influence from many different genre's/ bands as well as life experiences. We just released our first single "Core", which can be streamed/downloaded here: (https://soundcloud.com/zero-one-complex/core)

Z1C isn't doing anything atm. And that's the most i can say regarding that matter. I changed the topic name to my original music alias. 

 

And i'm just focusing on solo stuff.

I think Buck-Tick fans will enjoy this a lot. I was inspired by their recent album to make this. Its a dark, groove rock song with tribal and metal elements added. Very different from what i was doing with Z1C.

I've been doing my best to be more active there and been treating it like a blog with random tid bits bout my mindset and stuff when making music. I'll also be posting sneak peaks of songs as well. 

 

And once again, Z1C is INACTIVE. You're still free to like the page but theres going to be pretty much no action there for a very long time.

Back with a "new" song.

 

This song is called 405. Its pretty much the birth of Z1C's "Core." Recorded it with a friend of mine back in 2011, one weekend and that was that. Seeing as though some of the guitar parts resonated with me, i used some of them to write Core. Randomly last month after i forgot about it, I'm sent the song, polished up with vocals. So i thought Id share it.

Description right from page:

 

The revamped and polished version of "Wasteland", a demo that i dropped last year. All of the stringed instruments were rerecorded with my recently modded Les Paul (in drop C# tuning) and i added a light mix to em. The drums were also redone so there's more of a groovy and coherent sound.

Wasteland is one of a few songs that i was gonna use for an EP. After much thought, i decided against it...and ultimately the creation of the EP. More of these redux versions shall follow. I have no need to keep em the vault.

"Core" sounds awesome! As a suggestion for future releases I would probably lower the guitars a little if it were me, but the singer still had the required space in the mix so it wasn't too bad, it's just that the guitar arrangement itself sounded great but felt grating to me at times just because of the volume. Awesome stuff though!
