  12. Red rum 0 (SE) got some news sampling going on with some party drumming, then bam guitars come on and they whole club is jumping. 1 red rum. Lycaon’s heaviest song to date. It stars out with a lovely intro and delayed growl that really gets it kicks the songs out. Some nasty low screams yuuki lets out, though you can tell he is testing waters and hasn’t fully mastered it. Excellent first song as they change to different sections with that crisp bass. 2 death game. This great song keeps anyones head bobing with it mix up of drops and heavy riffing. And to sprinkle a little more on the pizza they have satoshi doing a great score on top it and a computer beeps here and there. And that higher scream on the word scream pushes the goodness even further. 3 Kohakuiro. Here is where It got weird. This song speed stays fast all the way through, but yuuki’s pace is slow. It also felt like the instrumental was full, like maybe more bass. But Yuuki saw this and compensated with singing with extra emotion&beauty that feels the heart with good vibes 10/10 This can be considered Lycaon’s Gem of their discography. Because Yuuki never sung so low again and they never came a tiny bit too sounding like this again. Which kinda makes it that much fun to listen to. Also having to of the songs be 5+ min and a bomb SE just shows they came to kill as their name implies. Sad/Sickness 0 SE This time o think they were giving people time to get settled because it kinda dragged on with. But the ending was good and fit right into the first track. 1 Hi Ame. Sort of like kohakuiro it gives you ballad vibes in the chorus and verses but nope it’s jam pact with fun from a catchy main riff to funky acoustic part. Yuuki’s voice is still low but modern Yuki is being born with higher notes. 2 1st degree genocide holic. If you were a big fan of Red Rum then you are going to love this. Same interesting ass set up, fast parts and heaviness. And that first verse in harsh was sick guitars playing a wicked tune. But unlike red rum the soft section is more beautiful and less dark. 10/10 Their mastery of metal and rock fusion is just out of this world and just to enjoyable. Ambrozia Such a sick album that it literally has people sick because they are not doing songs like this. Compared to the older releases it not really dark and edgy as well as crispy rather than heavy. We get an amazing addicted SE with Yuuki’s best scream ever to start it off and get the listeners hype for album. The way it goods from cool to full on headbang mode is almost too much to handle. Joining in on the fun part of the album is Suckin’ on a lollipop aka lycaon first eroctic song and first in a long line of yuuki saying kiss me as well as the last track The end of [delusion]. The first of the two an easy bop with a kind of groove that sucks you all through the end. We got the fist pumping main riffs, tingly mid-section, headbanging scream part and lullaby hook, and sexy break down. The end of [delusion] however is going hard in the paint song that is really fun with sections that switch so fast that by the end of the album you need more ASSAP. It has more of that cruchy bass you love, and lovely high pitch squeal to make the breakdown and song as whole even more epic. We got a little bit of rapping going there in the hook which new adding to the upbeat side of the album. Alejandro a sexy but hard mix with a bit of darkness sprinkle in there kind of brings another appetizer to the table with it’s Spanish guitar opening and seductive whipper mental break down with Yuuki screaming “fuck you repeatedly.” And knowing Yuuki he has to do more so he lets out hot moan right before the breakdown to which simpletons would think was gazette-ish, but it’s Lycaon here they are irrelevant. Moving on the last part of the album that tried to hold on to the darkness but failed too because they were to technical and cool with the instrumental. Camilia having a advance guitar tag main riffs and Kesshou Hana having piano mixed in with cool guitar riffs. However, they are oppiste in the vocal department, the fist being in a low tone and second in a high voice showing Yuuki’s flexibility. In conclusion all songs did there thing fucking killed it. 10/10 Sawayaka 3-kumi 2009 Not much I can say about this remastering because it is tricky one. On one hand they clean this beautiful track up and polished it to is more shiner than your bald dad’s forehead. On the other hand it feels a bit weaker and depending on mood that faded out intro might be a minus point because you needed that growlish scream intro and drops to get you pumped up. 10/10 still for that precision. Chains Of Collar This like the others before and later to come iilitrates part of why I love them so much. Contrary to one of old Lycaon’s (L) stereotype their songs don’t all song same, they are all have their own lanes on each release. A now a good place to bring that up. Someone might hear Chains of Collar and Enslavement Beauty (EB) as sounding the same with the b-side being harder. Well that’s not all It also more of a party metal headbang song. Something easy to rock with and to at the soft and aggressive parts. While Chains as a fun song was going for more than that, it wanted take you on a journey and have be a more attentive listener from the slick main riffs to Satoshi’s guitar break. You can tell buy the the bass difference. EB’s was really loud vast something to get lost in while Chains was really confined classic crunchy. Also obviously Chains couldn’t have had screams as powers powerful as that would be distracting from the master plan of really grabbing listeners. That being said Chains is probably on everyone’s list of their favorite L songs. Lastly we have Insanity, the track I believe to be a sneak diss to popular band System of Down as the main riffage from their song toxicity was probably upgraded and used in insanity. The other part of the song was upgraded however when used by VK bands, as the semi creepiness sound really familiar like I’ve heard it multiple times before (just to point the finger back). Back to Insanity, the song is a easy favorite IMO since while it slow for the verses and chorus, it still has some groove and hardness to it. And who can resist though pain filled power screams and sad but sexual singing. A 10/10 jam pact power vacation single. Cordyceps sinensis Right from the start we have eve being his flashy self with a memorable opening featuring a women’s voice and synth plus instrument mix up. I get the sense that he wanted to try out metalcore with all drops arranged with the cool double bassing and it worked out great. Yuuki doing some different screams, and getting that “YASSSS BISHHH” on with his singing. 10/10 sweet deal through through with the different section and bringing back the synths at the cool down. Declaration of war In otherworld Declaration of a Bop. Heavy into, headbanding intro and 2 part breakdown. But before the other parts a beautiful off set ballad where Yuuki came to slay laying down some raw beauty like “who said I cant sing BISSSSHHH?” His tone in throughout the song is notically distinctive from the others IMO. Zero did a great job as always, 10/10. A Box In Beautiful This song has a great as hell, but I cant shake the feeling that Yuuki instincts were not the best her. Like they were too light and needed some kick. But the title says “Beautiful” in it which may have drove him to be more female on this which is fine at parts. Anyway, he most defiantly picks up the slack with some nasty screams and that sexy moan. And it’s safe to say Satoshi fucked it up complexly like with Ale fucking jandro 10/10. 「果たし状」(Hatashijô) It’s no secrete how I feel about Lycaon doing a cover, I fucking love it and down for them for them whenever because IMHFO they always body the original, make it song like it’s their own song, get a chance to sound different, and have fun. And that last one basically describes this one, Yuuki having a blast screaming his heart out and trying out gutturals, and a sassy rap bit. In contrast to the original it heavier and harder instead o that playful hard-ish stuff in vk. In contrast to Lycaon they haven’t done this kind of metal before, which is really out there and wild. 10/10 for a flawless execution Fragile The first sign of big change is here. It’s rock, but also a badass ballad. Addictive main riffage and Yuuki pulling out them emotions like seasoning in his cabinet just come together to make a beautiful rose and thorn track. 10/10 Love Song Walks the best ballad to have ever been crated. It’s as if they stanched your soul out of your bruised broken body and took and rocked it how a good mother would her baby. In addition Yuuki’s voice is on another plain of existence and harmonizes with the sad synth and guitar playing to explode with satoshi killing that dam guitar solo and ending with those sorrowful beeps. 10/0 Royal order Finally their first full length album, well at least in western term. The album is great as ever but there could have been more. They stick old songs on their with only one of them being edited or atleast noticeably edited. Then you have the 3 pro singles on there which leave you with a mini-album worth of new content. The second sets of song I can get, they wanted to be nice and not have their fans having to deal with getting them. But still considering that this is the last of them somewhat sounding like that, whatever that is, we kind of deserved more. Or Maybe the tension of the direction of the band was to high and Eve and Mio wanted to get the hell out the group quickly. Getting back to music it had variety of flavors like the chilling crisp “Lilly,” the sexy sexy “Pain Killer,” to the hungry badass “Miss Evil Inside. They defiantly had enough time to play around at least. Like with that harshful fuckboy song “**88**” where Yuuki literally say “this song is for anyone” in the intro and goes on to relaease a mix of screams and shrieks. Will it get in with everyone though probably not with the pow pow pow main beat. But I would say you wouldn’t want to miss out that “yes sir.” We have another fuckboy song on the dvd that could have easialy replaced one of the old song on the album “plug into the socket.” It’s hard and gets the blood flowing as it flows from a grabbing intro to a awkward but sweet guitar solo to a hyped 2 part breakdown. The vocals are nice, manly on the verses and boyish at the chorus, with some filtered scream which do the trick. We also got the fun disco track “who’s bad psycho party” with a extremely catchy chorus in English and a lovely light falsetto breakdown. Great track to dance to by the way. “Royal Order” the track where Yuuki let go all his frustration in life in this layered mix-up track. Of course he saves a bit to kill a break down on “Lilly” to complement the killer guitaring on the track. Now going back to the beginning, which is nice they redo “RedRum” ish. Yuuki put his new found freedom vocals on it, and the instrumental gets looser. At first I didn’t care for it, but I guess I acquired the taste for this mixing choice. 10/10 Eros (2nd Press) Contrary to popular belief Eros continue right were Lycaon was heading. To starting off with a dope hot SE to the last two tracks “Mary” and “MAD NEUROSIS CHILD” give Sad/Sickness vibes. “Pink Milk With Drugs In My Milk” give vibes of “Pain Killer” and “Who’s Bad Psycho Party” from Royal Order. He even brings back the squeal from The end of Delusion but with a mix of scream in it. And looking at their past experimentation aka, “Eros” is not new, and that and Yuuki doing that vocal style was new. Anyway, definitely one of my more favored singles with that party/booming Pink milk song, dope ass “Mary” and Yuuki riding the fuck out of that Jazzy number which is “Eros.” Lycaon is surely not new to sexual content with lyrics like “Suck my dick, YEAHHHHH.” But he never been submissive with it which I guess can turn people off. Lastly “MAD NEUROSIS CHILD” the bad ass rock number. Has Yuuki scream go repeatedly on the main riff, and him singing In a perverted falsetto for the verses which sift in guitar playing and bringing it to his normal voice (at the time) for the chorus. 10/10 Lycaon 全国7ヶ所ワンマンツアー 「Scandalous love juice」 -無料配布音源- This funky ass song takes you back to the 90’s kind of. Gives me instrumental vibes of Salt -n- Pepa’s “R U Ready” and Foxy Brown’s “I’ll be” with Jay Z. Something fresh from them that I defiantly welcome with open arms. And while Yuuki’s voice sounds weak and in the demo stages it still carries and slays. Which is odd because as I said previously on ther topic of “A Box in Beautiful” I wasn’t comfortable with it, is it a beat difference, or production. Not that he sounds the same on the two ABIB as he does here on “Yume.” Anyway there is a change in beat for a cute little breakdown which was kind of them. 10/10 Jesus By know we can say that they are not trying throw away their older selves completely, and that hardness is a part of them. “Jesus” is that part of them, though for the most part it in the back under the funky guitar. But when that verse hit, you going to want to slap your mama. I don’t know about you guys but “Pierrot” is like my reggae gem from them. And yes it was upgrade from Sads but hey if you can do it better why the hell not. Anyway just a smooth, soothing track with a attitude or that just might be Yuuki in the PV. 10/10 Jouyoku no ACME Are we being lazy again and not trying to come up with another song? Hmm. Because I see “Jesus” again. Any way we get a nice mysterious opener, “Jouyoku no ACME” which feel like a good choice considering the arrangement on the vocals. They are more like decorations than the actual party. More focus on the instrumental. “Hmmmm, ‘Nibanme no Onna,’ is jazz becoming a thing?” “Yes baby,” Satoshi reply’s. Unlike “Eros” though, this one is harder and more rockfish. Like the title they give the feeling of “I love sex. I love drugs. I love rock'n'roll” in one track. Yuuki the sex and drugs and the beat rock and roll. “Marigold” ends up the soft part of the album, but it still feels like rock instead of a ballad, and done in a very polished manner. Lastly, “Time Enough for Love” the chaotic of the bunch. A running mix-up is what I’d call it. 10/10 Beauty & Beast There cover of “I threw Away Tomorrow” kind of is “Time Enough for Love” pt.2 with a badass intro. It’s interesting that Yuuki dropped the unclean vocals and went with high singing, and it worked. The other two covers are good too and 1 Star’s interpretation is alluring, and worth checking out. 10/10 Lycaon AVENTURE -アバンチュール- Opening up with a some hentai on the SE, we then get a dance-y song that you can get on the dance floor with. 10/10 Uso to Onna to Open with a jazz club SE we continue on this journey that Lycaon is taking us on, this time noting hardish except the breakdown from “Mask” and so drumming smacks. Oh and of course the gun shots on “MAUSER no PISTOL.” Gives it an extra kick to this lovely story telling sounding track. “Misshitsu ni Okeru.” AKA the longass title, slows it down so to let the listener vibe out took. It gets really addictive with the “kami-sama” hook. Next we have “Number Eight.” Lycaon’s 2nd sexy song after “Pain Killer,” though this one takes place on a rollercoaster instead of a club and is so fun. Lastly “Mask” is the get up and jump anthem. Now here we go again with the album lacking new content. “Fragile” and “Plug into the Socket” get a pass though because the never made it to official cd. Maybe the band was desperate for cash? Anyway for the most part the rerecording are their old songs transformed into their newer technical sound which I’m here for. It’s good to have options. For sure though “Suckin' on a Lollipop” got better, more fitting. In contrast “Fragile” could have been not touched. I mean its not bad but the heart can’t help but yearn for the old one. Speaking of going back in past, how come they didn’t weaken Jesus, or cut out the screaming like did with “I Threw Away Tomorrow?” To appease the old fans perhaps. No serious complains with what’s on it 10/10. Akutoku no Sakae This one here is a continuation of sorts of what they’re doing while going a touch father in the past while bring something new that they never did before. “Akutoku no Sakae” is sort of like a rock version of “Plug into the Socket.” Them being fuckboyish but less hardness. We get some more F-bombs and moan screams. “Ai wa Kirameki no Naka ni ~Acoustic ver.~ “is where it gets new. They never had done an acoustic song before and it’s super sweet, completely loveable. It’s was great that Yuuki sung great and raw here. The weird part is to consider is the title says “Acoustic ver.” which implies that there is another version of this song, correct? If so can i hear it? Be cool if it was totally extreme and had unclean on it, and came out on one of their new singles or albums. Next we have the next edition in the jazzy series that upbeat but mellow at the same time called “LINDWURM no Kane”. Lastly we have the band feeling nostalgic as this is the first new scream track since Eros reminding one of “Miss Evil Inside” as well. 10/10 SET ME FREE “I love rock -n- roll, so put a coin in the jukebox baby” and “Set Me Free.” Free they go on the one take kind of instrumental that none. Yuuki not only jumps on “Set Me Free” but glides on it as well, killing as usual. At the end where he makes that sound articulating “I know I did that” is everything. 10/10 Imaike Gozen 2hours As a favor to a closing ramen shop they ate at the non-vocal members add their singing to parts of Aventure creating “Aventure Daimaru Version” making the song even more fun as you can tell they had a blast and some laughs doing it. 10/10 Mayaku/Memai This one is pretty cool. First track “Memai” is a cool low key song that is easy to relax too. I always imagined it being played in a private underground club where the mobsters hang out in the movie. You can just imagine it because of the smooth deep bass. “Mayaku” is more active with the instrumental doing more tricks and all. This probably the most uncut Yuuki track as it’s believed him singing technically this badly got him put in the hospital for vocal cord surgery. It was too much emotion he was putting across. “I’m a sick man” is the fun track on her, with catchy riffs sounding old school-ish. Also the first time Yuuki use this damping effect on his voice. And it ends crazily like the title suggest. 10/10 Zecchô !! Erotica Nine DX Their first pop output is here, and suprissingly good. It’s still rock but the instrumental is to kawaii to be rock. Yuuki lays on some warm vocals, and incomes their 2nd boding cover song. 10/10 Bara-Rose- The single reins in some darkness. The title song, Bara-Rose-, is flashy with a groovy finish but still has a darkness lurking in the background. You can feel it with Yuuki’s falsetto, and his mothers in the opening. They sing out in the voice of a siren seducing you into the web before they finish you off. Show this to a non jrock and they will say they like it. After it’s catchy but smells of art as will with the bassing and guttering and bopping drums. The Jazz series entry Kuroneko is flawless like fresh done nails. This time it’s a bit Halloween-ish like a great song to listen to while trick or treating. Dark interlude into a super dark artsy song and a fuckboy old school song. “Mourou” the artsy one is one of their songs that they were playing around on. They switch up the vibes through to keep from getting bored, some The Gazette didn’t do in Chizru in which this song was upgraded from. 10/10 DAHLIA In walks in the best song ever created. This old school, new school hybrid has yet to be topped even today. Starting off with Yuuki talking like he is possessed and he spooky build up with chanting, then drumming and that guitar, to the fast pace main riffage. The the pounding bridge filled with Yuuki’s lighter screams, then to a beautiful chorus with some angelic falsetto. The a not stop instrument play through with Yuuki screaming like he is singing taking it up a notch then down repeatedly. Then a delightful breakdown with some mid ranged singing. Ugh this song is just perfection all the way through. Never have the instruments or Yuuki been so effective. This is the werewolf, this is the phoenix! 10/10 MASOCHIST RED CIRCUS What in the hell do we have here? I mean they use a bit of electrionic and synths before but never this hard. And what the eph-you-see-cay, is that dubstep? Yes, it is, in walks in Lycaon’s biggest style change ever. The promotion picture was not misleading at all, as the album has a dark vibe and circuses have the share of horror stories. Mostly you can find the darkness in Hiyuu’s bassing as it is thick and heavy and Yuuki as it’s incubusish or sad. There is also its fair share of hardness throughout the album. It’s just that the happen to be electronics on top or mix in that could blind people from looking at the whole picture. Speaking of which ulike the other bands Lycaon used it in a different way as if they wrote their own algorithm on how to use it because they didn’t want to be like everyone else, while still possible getting a more commercial pay check. After starting with a circus dubstep SE, we get “Kakusei” a deep emotional kicker that slow, with synth flairs extra effect. It speeds up with pounding drums at the chorus which parallel Yuuki as he sounds like he is crying out for you to hear him. Next we Psychedelic Jelly, the first in the Mortal Kombat series of songs. It’s a dancy seductive track. We get a scream with the semi breakdown that lead into a lavish breakdown where he talks about you wanting to suck his “dick off” as he acknowledges his good listeners as his slaves. After we get the hard hiting on guitar riff dubstep breakdown that was teased and it still feels great. A fun track called “OVER DOSE” is next. We get the same filter from “I’m Sick Man,” but unlike that one this is hard with a bigger bass and has electronic sounds pitching in to keep up the good spirits. “Reibyoukou to MASOCHIST takes a direct route to the circus with the instrument choice bring an accordion ballad with tape effects. Is next in the jazz song gossip is cleaner than the other while having some hardness. “Kuro no DATURA” is heaviest tack on the release that has you jump headbanging. They’re some spooky there too with Yuuki low light tone before the hook. “TABOO” can be described as Yuuki reading ancient witch text over a headhanging beat. “JI・RE・N・MA” is the 2nd jazz addition on the album, more sass then ever and possibly more waltzy. Last “Amaoto no Rondo” seems to be the continuation of the track above since it also has accordion. Though this one has the band members going to work as they dive into the pits of despair give you a taste. 10/10 gossip-ゴシップ- Continuing with the electronic Lycaon releases another single and like a true western it based of a song from the album. “Gossip-ゴシップ-” get amped up killing any inperfections the old versions had. Like it now sound perfect like it was supposed to. “Zankoku no SALOME” is the next club songs with to different kinds of club music. One is rad which is at the main riffs and breakdown. The other is at the Yuuki’s whisper/talking part which is funky and bass heavy. “Tsuki wa Mujihi na Yoru no Joou” is a horror story master piece that just annihilates the competition. Their 2nd pop cover “DESIRE” is next. Though it’s totally different from anything they’ve done before. They again body and make a song their own. 10/10 Baka ne This single was dichotomous like others but more interesting this time. “Baka Ne” the only song they were ever given is straight up pop, tastefully done as Yuuki puts his on spin on the guitar pop song. In contrast “DOGURA MAGURA” is a industrial metal song I believe which is fresh for them. They both have electronic sounds in them though but doing different things. The title track being to make it beautiful and edgy. With “Dogura Maura” to add to it’s hardness ass it’s this stern buzzing sound mixed in with the mortal kombat synths, yep it’s the next one in the series and the hardest one. Also it should be noted that contrast of Yuuki voice from the breakdown compared to the rest of the song. The song generally he sounds demoed, but at the breakdown his falsetto shines bright. “ Zanzou ni Kuchibeni” is a tricky one, a rollercoaster like “Number Eight” but extreme instead of sexy. Well there is a sexy part but it’s when the heaviest parts come in. The rest is chaotic with a circus break part. 10/10 Akujo no Hohoemi This is where you would have expected them to end up after “Bara-Rose.” It’s pretty hard like back and the day. The title track is badass and youthful while still carrying the Mortal Kombat torch. It also has a whip sound to give it some extra flair. “Dorei to Kubiwa” was a total mind blower as it samples a horror game as a intro. The metalcore isn’t surprising but the talking in the hunting singing over it is. Then we get the chorus which features this nation never been heard before angelic voice with alien like backtracking to combine and orgasm your ears. 10\10 Shadow Like the title they continue dark with this dark undertone. The title song “Shadow” is very melodic and east to get stuck in one’s head. The main part has a singing instrumental. Then the versin have some screams in it for extra kick and the song is filled with angelic falsetto. “Anima” signals in Lycaon’s hardest song to date. The guitars are rapid their and don’t hold their punches for the verses. The bass also chops it up to further make the song like cocaine. Then we have an interesting breakdown that has alien feel with the synths and guitar sound. “Akai Ringo” on the other hand is Halloween-ish a fun ride to go on with an awesome smacking prehook. 10/10 [M] SADS Respect Album His majesty King Yuuki-sama want to let the public know that he is the best at this singing style. They cover “Rozario to Bara” as if was one of their songs murdering the original as usual. Cool rock song that you can listen to on the beach is the vibe it gives of. 10/10 Amazing Baby! “Ok baby” is a solo funky rock song by Satoshi. Despite the lack of lyrics its still a good listen. 10/10 Camera obscura-カメラオブスキュラ- This album calls for the end of a name, which is a powerful thing. It is the symbol of someone’s identify. Fittingly, somber call with the SEs except the chill guitar one setting the mood for their soon to be loss. And before you go give that up, why not show people what your about right? That’s exactly what they did, as I said before this album was a collection of their discography but done in a new light. Contrary to unenlightened believe, they are not recycling and sounding the same as before like other bands do or being foolish by time traveling backwards to indirectly declass their newer music or migrating ways. In other words, if you are not a production whore, this is their self-entitled album. And it’s not just themselves they are bringing as they are influenced by Visual Kei, they are bringing some of the forefathers’ vibes again to the table as well, like Malice Mizer. The guitars have ravishing incomings, layers and tricks. Lastly I want to point out that their most powerful song that visualizes these five men on their iron and ice throne is birth here. The royalty is so abundantly clear it almost suffocating. 10/10 ジプシー -Gypsy- Like the last reissued album song single “ジプシー -Gypsy-“ is brushed to fleekage getting rid of any frizz and making sure this Spanish song is perfect to the point the repeating isn’t even a bother anymore. The nest song “Ballad” is a cosmic headbanger. It’s fast pace but with heart filled vocals on it. Some how they blend together with the background scream and light up the lister’s day. 10/10 LAST DANCE “Ballad” is a strong song better than others final song, but not fitting for the burial of one’s name. This song, “Last Dance” however is much more befitting. It has the emotional singing and the funeral vibe going in the instrumental as well. It’s like a scene in fiction were the couple has their slow dance before tragedy strikes, and the one who know what’s about to happen gives you that look and tells their partner that they a grateful for all they have done. 10/10 Gekka Midarebotan Once Yuuki seems free, why not get him to make a project complete after all there is no one who fits the bill. Switching up his vocals and emulating vocaloid eats this eve’s oriental spin of satoshi’s “A box in Beautiful.” This marks the first traditional sounds Yuuki has sung with and it better than one could ever imagine. 10/10 MOON LIGHT DOWN Shedding their mortal werewolf skin the five members rebirth in their true form, the phoenix which resides in the moon. But it’s not that they have forgotten their past life, they are in fact continuing their journey but better equipped. “MOON LIGHT DOWN” is the 2nd song with an industrial vibe to me since “DOGURA MAGURA.” It however isn’t going for hardness, but inteads to be flashy and hip. Perhaps their way of flaunting their new form. The next one, “Pathos” is anime/popish. It is something they’re not done with either. It could also be a subliminal jab at eve since this is the 2nd song with tradition sounds on it and it’s assumed that this style music is everything he despises. “Okuri hi” is something that a Yuuki fan would hope for, a falsetto driven track with just light instrumental in the background. “Doku onna” brings back the old school while mixing it with the new school in this rosy fiery track. “Labyrinth” is the hard trickster that’s highly enjoyable. “Seppun 〜 kuchizuke 〜” is the circus without the electronic sound. “Nostalgia” hard club song that you’re either jump, twerking or headbanging to. So much in one single. 10/10 VISION This single totally upstages the previews and reflects the band’s senior status. “VISION” unlike picks up where Masochist Red Circus left off but it’s much more mature. That is perhaps why It booked a television show ending. “White Out” goes kind of full anime instead of just a bit like “Pathos.” It’s however is in its own tier because of how the different parts come together to bend the norm and form something that is graceful. “Ai Kotoba” is a funky old school funky song mix with pop. It also has a different drum sound than usual. Lastly, “Warning” is Yuuki’s solo “engrish” dub-step track which is a welcome surprised as he cuts hits his mark on the intro calls, and switching his tone half way through the short chorus. 10/10 Blah Conclusion Blah Some people say “how did such a great band go so wrong?” So, they attack, troll, and spout out about how disgusted they are at the band. After all, once you metal you can’t do anything else or at least with an anti-traditional vocalist like Yuuki. Other say “Meh” the first stuff was generic and boring. They go on about how “thank god they change, finally something interesting.” Others only admire their looks, the cool, classy but sexy at the beginning or the confident skin showing look. Even without the flash they still managed to chart. Then there is the casual listener who like them but not enough to ever get in an argument about them because you can’t really get into some type of feeling for something you never care about. Me? I always hear the most balls-est dam music I have ever had the pleasure of diving my ears into. To switch up sounds within a block sound (hard, soft, ect.) like the weather and don’t give a flying fuck is amazing to me. And it always hit home with me no matter the sound or style. In other words, why contain the beast, or shade the creativity. I mean do you want to see it coming? I always find that boring. It’s scary to put your trust in something that you have no control, and believe me I know, sometime I hear previews, beginnings of songs or nothing at all and worry they’re going to fuck me over and I’m ready to renounce my fealty to them. Contradictory to my thoughts, they always comes out great. Therefor I am neither. I am a independent party that think that music was created so one day the will get their hands on it expand it into something more real and fantastic, AKA the Kings Of Music. I see why they didn’t do a best of album they keep sticking previous release song on new releases. It’s because they know their songs are heroine too. Why not shoot it up again? And every time a new strain comes outs by these scientist I will shoot it up.
