As I understand, every japanese person who has every been born has a heroin like addiction to overpriced silver jewelry that looks like something a "cool youth pastor" would wear with his bedazzled jeans and affliction shirts. Looks like working for them gets you on the inside of j-rock affiliate circles as he posts alot of pics with vamps and diru. Probably gets advance copies as this isnt the first time hes posted covers before the album was officially out. Its a wonder the gyaru havent abducted him and forced him into a life of slavery.

Gonna skip the samples/advance track and wait for the full thing, although it's a bit hard, heh.

I'd really just like to find more VK bands in this vein. Their melodic side really does feel like mid-era Diru to me, but it melds really well with the style they're doing overall. Doesn't make me feel like I should just "go listen to another djent band" because the music is actually different and appeals to different things that I like.  
 
Furthermore, I just like that they're stylistically committed. I know when I put this on I'm getting a heavy album, not an album with 6 metalcore tracks and 6 tracks of wonky circus VK.

For some reason it really reminds me of the newer Saosin material. 

Really anticipating this. I like the singles so far and ARCHE ended up being one of my favorite modern Diru releases (I think I like it more than Marrow, Uroboros, and DSS, honestly). I don't know why, but I have a feeling this one is going to be something special.

I've been really enjoying seeing everyone get excited about this new album. It's great when DEG releases new work, because we get the trolls, and the die hard fans pooling together.
 
I'm definitely looking forward to hearing "Keibetsu" and "Aka" as whole tunes.

So, we'll have a very strong album opener. And a beautiful closer. That's reassuring, to say the least (hated RoM as an album closer for Arche).

Don't get me wrong, it's certainly a strong album and an astounding one when compared to first albums from other VK artists Miles ahead of that terrible EP they released many moons ago! 

All I can think listening to it is that it's a really fantastic first album - leaps and bounds above many of their peers, and I think if they stick around in the scene, their next one will be ridiculous. One of the few bands that I feel I absolutely HAVE to see in Japan next year. Actually, with this style of music, I think they'd be really successful in front of a western audience, too, though I know getting VK bands to the states is wishful thinking in most cases.

Same here. There was a lot of hype for it on here but after the record dropped there wasn't much activity. I assume people were disappointed?
 
I myself built it up in my head quite a lot but after a few listens I find it just 'OK'. There are some great songs on here so i'm not sure why.

There was a magazine review already in Japan. Apparently the album is very aggressive and there are a lot of harsh vocals.

Fuck the naysayers. TMOAB is fantastic.
 
It's the most raw, angry, upset, and overall emotional the band has ever been. The quieter songs are some of the best of their entire career, and you can't deny the loud songs are extremely compelling. Kyo's screaming range went way off the scale with this album. The vocal delivery is a punch to the gut. Just great.
 
Kisou is also excellent. Not really sure why there's any comparison here, though. MARROW is much more focussed on one idea, while Kisou skips genres constantly. The only song where every other word is "fuck" is The Domestic Fucker Family, and that comes from a completely different place than anything in TMOAB.
