Just pre-ordered the vinyl. I don’t think they’ve actually done a vinyl release since ~1990, so psyched for this.

If I understood correctly, this will be 6 song CD that will be released for sale at gigs first and with online ordering to be planned at a later date.
Each band will record their own version of 'Ghost of Romance', which was originally composed by munimuni, and then each will cover a song from another band.  Here are three songs mentioned in the flyer:

I have no idea about technique whatsoever, but a vocalist/pianist friend of mine who studied music for 10+ years really praised Kaya for his vocal abilities. He emphasized how hard it probably is (at least from his own experience) for Kaya to keep his voice controlled and stay in tune, because for example most of the verse parts in his songs have very little "background" for the vocals to "fall back upon", i.e. it's usually just a drumbeat and random bass synth and he still pretty much nails all the right notes. Plus his voice is pretty powerful and cool, but that's just my personal preference/observation.

Yeah I was getting a High End of Low vibe too kinda (too bad that's one of my least fave MM albums xD). Musically it's not bad, but the whole atmosphere and the repetitive lyrics are not what I was hoping for.

I'm not really feeling either track. Five listens in on Ochita and I can barely remember it. Definitely do not like what they did to my boi CLEVER SLEAZOID. I wanted a rerecording not a remake.

Maybe the tracks will grow on me with time.

BUCK-TICK have a new album in the making, but before that they will release their new single "MOONLIGHT ESCAPE" on 2020/08/26. The single will contain 2 brand-new tracks: the A-side is composed by Hisashi Imai and the B-side is by Hidehiko Hoshino (both lyrics are written by Atsushi Sakurai).
 
The single will come in 3 types: regular edition CD, limited edition type A (CD+Blu-ray), limited edition type B (CD+DVD).

Soooo MERRY just announced that Kenichi (guitars) will be leaving the band in May 2020.   A final tour is in the works as five-piece. Afterwards, MERRY will continue with four members (no word yet on whether they will recruit a support or fulltime 2nd guitarist).

So uhhhhh I watched an '80s Taiwanese martial arts flick called Drunken Dragon (apparently a.k.a. Exciting Dragon, lol) and it sure was something.  Probably one of the fastest-pace, craziest and goofiest things I've seen... Especially the first half is just punch after punch of non-stop ridiculousness. Not sure what the writers were smoking when they conjured all this up, but I approve!
 
Already eyeing another movie by the same director, Child of Peach, lmao.
