It's been a long time since I last listened to them, but I recommend their first two albums: Remission and Leviathan.

The girls won the title of 'Best New Band In The World 2011' by MTV Iggy. Plus, they'll do a show at Times Square in New York on December 12th. http://www.mtviggy.com/articles/world-meet-2ne1/ I'm so happy for them, they're one of my fave pop groups! Congrats to them!

A countdown appeared on 12012's official site that finishes in 32 days, so on December 12th if I'm counting it right. Wonder what it'll be (my guess is that they'll become active again). http://www.12012.jp/ edit: looks like we'll be getting a self-titled new album on 2012/03/14.

^ I guess it's like that because nuChemical Rhetoric is one of their shortest albums, plus they didn't have any singles around that time (hence the drum solo, the 2 random songs from the bonus CD of their DVD from that era, and the higher number of new songs xD).

Somehow they didn't strike me as interesting on first listen, but I kept coming back to them, nowadays even kinda missing them. ...so I'm really glad! Hopefully this means some new release announcement soon too.
