Cool! The info is from Hora's blog by the way. He says that the details will be announced next month.

Calling 20. Mienai kyori 21. I think I can fly 22. Break Down 23. MISSION CODE 24. evolution 25. Never ending story 26. Saikai Between Parts 1 and 2 there was also a video-screen transmission, which was a kind of drama reenacting/telling about the formation of the band.

LOL what a band name!
-
Ooooh, interesting!
-
Cool thread idea! I'll definitely try to participate when I can! ...except for the turntable.fm part, can't get that to work (even with a proxy-thingie).

Beetlejuice Always watched the cartoon when I was a kid, but somehow never managed to see the movie till now. Fun stuff!

You're right, that's a pretty good one! Especially if the viewer is claustrophobic. I like how the tension just builds and builds and builds, and then at one point all hell breaks loose (with a very very effective "holy shit!"-type of moment, too xD).
-
Totally seconding these! (and also the spoiler-hidden one )

I have a feeling it might have been the intro that they used for their concerts since the reboot. I don't know if that's the same as the 2007 one though. And about their new style - you never know... They did say, for example, that they decided to re-record their first album because that's the style they felt closer to at the beginning of their reboot period. PROMISE, on the other hand, sounded quite a bit like later LS, so I guess we just have to wait and see about the new songs.

Started reading Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk, maybe this time I'll actually finish it. (started reading it long time ago, but didn't have the time/attention span then, so I restarted it recently xD)

LOL this should be pretty epic.

^ Yeah, Martyrs is one of those shocking movies where scenes just burn into your psyche, and the whole atmosphere remains with you for a while. Like you don't wanna watch another movie right after it (at least that's how it was with me). Very powerful stuff. I've got some more: - [REC], and its sequel (very nice 'shaky camera'/video crew style Spanish horror movies) - The Beyond (from Lucio Fulci, classic Italian horror: mysterious occult atmosphere and lots of gore) - City of the Living Dead (see the description above xD) These are basically scary horror movies IMO. Other horrors I've watched were more on the 'simply entertaining' side.
-
LOL you got that right! xD It's quite...unsettling. Although I don't know if I would count it as horror, but it sure has some horrific moments.

A while ago the Promise To The Brave charity live started. If someone finds the setlist after the end of the gig, can they please post it here? Thanks in advance.
-
This is my interested face. xD
-
I think it was this one. Kind of a temporary thing between proper bands.
-
^ Yeah, that's a cool one! I love the Japanesque theme and sounds on there. Its preceding single's B-side Ryoran is really good too, one of my fave Kaya songs.
-
These are the only horror movies that 'stayed with me' (if you know what I mean) even days after watching them: - The Ring (American remake) - Ju-On: The Grudge (Japanese original) - Martyrs (I still can't bring myself to watch this again, even though I want to xD) ...but basically, for me, Martyrs is that top 'one movie' that's like...OMG. edit: And I second this as well!
-
I remembered some more great ones (if it's not too much from me already ): Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures (Post-Punk) - an innovative-at-the-time album with a heavy atmosphere Ramones - Ramones (Punk Rock) - one of the first punk records that started it all: fast, short and catchy! Slayer - God Hates Us All (Thrash Metal) - my personal favorite Slayer album, pure aggressivity with a beefy sound Marduk - Plague Angel (Black Metal) - was hard to choose, but the overall atmosphere and sound here is just crushing
-
I'd like to contribute to the list too! (this will be strongly subjective) Misfits - Walk Among Us (Horror Punk) Cinema Strange - The Astonished Eyes of Evening (Batcave/Death Rock) System of a Down - Toxicity (Nu Metal maybe?) Down - II: A Bustle in Your Hedgerow (Stoner/Southern Metal) Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines (Technical Death Metal, with a bit on an exotic flair) Tom Waits - Bone Machine (don't know how to categorize this... Bluesy Alternative Singer-Songwriter? xD) Der Eisenrost - Armored Weapon (Industrial) ...not much reason, these are just fave albums of mine.
-
If I'll have enough money then, I'll totally buy this. HYDRA -666- on there, plus Tue Madsen's sound...OMG.

I suggest you check out this subforum! By the way I play the guitar, but not in a band anymore, only as an occasional hobby (both acoustic and electric). I'm not good but I like to jam away randomly, and make/record songs (more like "sketches" of songs xD) at home.
