^ You mean 3 singles? (Bless, Good Luck My Way, X X X) ...I don't blame you though, I don't remember how it sounds like either. XD
  2. Jigsaw9

I hope they'll release an album soon after, it's been too long already... But anyway, good news, I'm looking forward to the single!

We only know that it will come out in 2012, possibly around February-March. Yep, they've been doing that since they came back from hiatus. I can also hear some PERESTROIKA influence in this new song (the synths), so I guess they're incorporating those elements into their sound slowly.

Kanbi na shigai PV: VOhZbujudSA LOL, weird as hell but awesome nonetheless.

^ Yeah, I expected a track or two more, too. Oh well, if this turns out to be good I might buy it, Sixth Sense was pretty much flawless anyway.
  6. Jigsaw9

^ Whoah, looks and sounds pretty cool! It seems it'll have a story too, nice. ^^
  7. Jigsaw9

The new repackage album will come out on November 4th. It will include all the songs from Sixth Sense, plus a new title track called Cleansing Cream which will be a ballad. Further extras: making of video, special photospread calendar, 'Thanks to' message written by the girls. MV teaser: R3ekTn_s8kE

^ Judging from the title, it might have 2 songs, nice! edit: oh yeah, it does have 2 songs, forgot about that. XD

I never tried Mukunoki but I can second the Celga recommendation, they are really good. I only had positive experiences with them so far (although I only used their service, like, two times xD). And thanks for warning!

Reading Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys now, really really good stuff.

^ Sounds not bad. Although I have the same 'problem' with it like with almost everything about the new Kuroyume: it sounds like it could totally pass for a regular Kiyoharu solo song. Still, pretty nice.

^ Sounds cool! Thanks for posting.
  13. You can now vote for 1 song/album here, clicking at the bottom. Then you have to choose the label whose albums you wanna browse, select the song, click the big button, then you have to fill in: nickname, male/female, age (?), prefecture (there is no overseas option, so I just randomly selected one xD), then click the big button on the right, and ta-daaa! Downside is that it always brings you back to the main page. xD Also, the youtube channel's open too: http://www.youtube.com/user/BUCKTICKvictor

The Beyond Watched it for the second time. Very appropriate at Halloween. Great old-school creepy horror movie.

^ Cool that you could see him live. I hope I'll have the chance too (on his Europe tour with Satsuki next year), it must be wonderful hearing his live singing. ^^

Well, strictly speaking from my own (listener's) perspective, I prefer the Japanese model because it provides a more constant flow of releases. On the other hand, I dislike it from the point of view of the artists because it must be really hard to continuously come up with new material, instead of writing and perfecting songs for a year or two, and then put them on an album (plus 1-2 singles for extra promotion). I think we all experienced this, some bands (especially visual kei) going on and on, making more and more boring music (of course this has to do with individual people's taste too). It's a weird situation because what I experienced is usually bands' music gets better and more interesting as they progress in the Western model, while in Japan it's not that simple (of course there's a number of exceptions in both cases). Anyway, I voted on the VK pattern, solely from a listener's perspective: I prefer it that way, but the other one would be better for artists' creativity. xD

^ Well truth be told, he only writes the lyrics, not the music. But I guess he has the 'vision', so yeah.

If you're looking for indies-VK, then Brand-X and Closet Child are your best bets: although their shipping is kinda pricey, the stuff always arrived to me in 2-4 days for example. CDJapan is a bit better maybe shipping price-wise, as you can choose more (cheaper) types of shipping options. Yesasia is good if you'd like to buy more popular stuff, since you can choose free shipping over $40. But be careful, they're kind of crap sometimes (if you see that an item "ships in 7 to 14 days" or something like that, then it basically means they don't have it and can't obtain it either...ruined a few of my orders).
