Listened to the Sick Of It All album. I started listening with high expectations, since I've heard their name a few dozen times here and there, that they're influential/legendary/great, but this album didn't leave much of an impact on me. It isn't bad but it left me completely neutral and "meh". Maybe if I was in a different mood it would've found its way into my head. It has some cool bits, but there are too many songs that are also too short for my taste, so I couldn't really distinguish between them (I have the same problem with grindcore too, by the way), and it all got too boring after the first few minutes of the album (thankfully it's short, lol). The production kinda played into my unaffectedness too. It sounds okay, but kinda lacks a punch (yeah I know, it's not some high-produced popular crap, what do I expect xD). So all in all, I was pretty unimpressed. Okay, the last song was pretty good. Also looked into that Autechre stuff, but noticed it's not one but actually two of their albums given for this week, lol. Looked up their lengths (more than an hour each) on Wikipedia, listened to some snippets on youtube, and concluded it would be best if I skipped that one. xD

The Laruku guys announced the following at their Osaka gig: - new L'Arc~en~Ciel album in 2012 - new P'unk~en~Ciel album called P'UNK IS NOT DEAD in 2012 Also, enclosed in the copies of the CHASE single is a "secret access code" with which you can get a live UStream sneak peek into the mastering of the new album on December 26th, 22:00. By the way I have a feeling that P'unk album might be more like a compilation. Still, looking forward to both albums!

Honestly I couldn't even notice the change in vocalists, lol. Equally bad singing - not that it's a problem in this type of VK.

This has gotta be one of my faves from Niwlun. That catchy little melody and the cute dancing and the whole atmosphere... wH4qwaqHjwo

Yay for Guniw! Yeah, they were pretty unique. Just when I thought "omg, this sound so different!" when getting into visual kei, along comes one of their videos, sounding even more different from those other VK bands, lol. xD I think my first exposure to them was the Looser Sugar PV or the Baby's One Do live footage ( ), can't remember exactly. All that I recall is that I initially thought Full was so creepy and so cool at the same time, weird/fitting voice too.Shame that their stuff isn't so easily obtainable nowadays (even their albums), like on CDJapan or other online stores. They had them in stock a few years ago, and I was so foolish to just buy the Sparky album (remastered/reissue with bonus tracks). It's still my only GT stuff. I treasure it though, great album. My favorite release has to be the Other Goose album though, such great and memorable tracks! Especially Distortion and Billy What Wild Cool Night (classic XDDD). My fave song is not from there though - it's Dearly Dark Nap. The other albums are almost equally good too, particularly going with all the PVs and stuff. They had such a cool and controlled artistic vision, totally doing their own thing.

Checked out the vid. Not too excited so far, feels like this won't be my cup of tea. Singer's voice is kinda ewww too (yeah yeah I know, he's been in bands for a long time but that won't make me like his voice xD).

Was kinda mildly interested in this, but after watching the preview I don't think I'll check them out.

Had Firefox before, for a longer period of time. Now that I have Windows7, I tried Chrome and it's pretty good. Using that ever since.

Cool, new CROSSFAITH and IZP song! Don't really care about the other bands but looking forward to it.
