New Death Grips and Earl Sweatshirt albums are pretty good, as expected.
-
I tend to prefer male vocals in Japanese music. I do like me sum female-sung poppy tunes now and then tho.
-
I'M HARD BOILED for this release already~
-
bring it on, my body is readyyyyyy

Filth - Watched this one cuz it's based on an Irvine Welsh novel, and boy, was it fucked up, lol. I kinda expected it to be a bit more funny but it was actually quite brutal and heavy in atmosphere, especially as the story developed. Nice one. Backcountry - Pretty good 'nature horror.' Nothing special but a decent flick. I like how they went with gradually building up the tension... so yeah, there isn't much scary shit happening in like the first hour but it's still pretty okay. Also, the visuals and the music were quite nice! Wyrmwood - Kickass post-apocalyptic zombie B-movie with some interesting/fun twists on the genre. Not much else to say, totally recommended!

Tau Cross, the new project of Away (Voivod drummer) and Rob Miller (Amebix vocalist/bassist) is releasing their first album on May 18. Stonecracker 04. Midsummer 05. Hangmans Hyll 06. We Control The Fear 07. You People 08. Prison 09. Sons Of The Soil 10. The Lie 11. Our Day 12. The Devil Knows His Own

^ It's available at Brand-X, for example.

^ It wasn't bad. Granted, I haven't been able to listen to it again after going through it once, lol. (I'm like that with most of Kuroyume's newer stuff anyway)
-
