^ Dada is just a whiny bitch like 80% of the time, so it's better to ignore all the "disbanding" scares he sometimes writes out on FB... or at least so I've learnt. xD Actually, Dada's been going with the project (a bit slowly but) pretty steady ever since they came back in 2010, it's only the synth player / other musicians that are changing almost constantly, lol.

This Rhapsody is beauty album is quite nice (just gave it a first try today). Almost skipped that terribly dull going-nowhere "intro" track but other than that most of the stuff was pretty cool. Especially the noisyyyy rawk tracks and the closing quiet number.

Preview sounds decent, tho kinda run-of-the-mill compared to their fantastic EP for example. (...if one can even compare a minute and a half to a full release, but you get what I'm saying XD)

I have a kind of conflicting relationship with Engrish lyrics, so I chose "nice to hear from time to time." Somehow when VK bands do it it's so hilarious, and I always love to look up whether a song has any Engrish in it, cuz it somehow adds to the charm (and you can find some ridiculous linguistic mindfucks, lol). In more 'serious' sounding music like metalcore, however, I tolerate it less. I guess because the pronounciation itself can be a bit more intelligible, so I hear the horrible grammar and phrasing even if I didn't want to, haha. Also their lyrics tend to be 100% in English, and not just a handful of songs or song-bites.

For me, this is one of those bands that would really appeal to my in theory or just their idea/concept, but somehow I could barely listen to a whole album all the way through so far (I think I tried the last two?). They do have some killer tunes tho based on some of their PVs. Maybe it's just a matter of time and mood till they click with me cuz otherwise I can't rly think of anything annoying in their music (unlike some other indie-rawk bands). Also that song @fitear1590 linked sounds mighty fine... which release is that one from?

Random info: the band has shot their new music video in which Chargeeeeee (ZIZ, etc.) will play drums. (or that's what I deduced from his "after a DOPPEL music video shot..." FB update anyway xD)

^ They actually released 3 singles and a mini album (plus a V.A. appearance or two)... but this all happened between 2007-2011, so it was hard to keep track I guess, lol. Anyway, what's interesting is that I just skimmed through their discog page and apparently like half of the songs on this best-album are previously unreleased (?). At least I couldn't find previous mentions of: 蜘蛛蝶羽-kumoageha- 茜祢-akane 夢幻桜-mugenzakura- 百合蜥蜴-yuritokage- 十戒-zikkai 殺眼-ayame ...unless they did a sneaky move and re-named some old tracks and re-recorded them, lol.
