Ah Ubisoft...as a WiiU owner, I feel very upset about this shitty company. Their declarations are disrespectful to us, I just can't. They said we don't buy their games? Maybe they should start releasing them complete and not with a delay of 6 month just to add a fucking map on the gamepad (hello Watch_Dogs). They need to start asking themselves the good questions. No mature games anymore for the WiiU? Oh wait a minute, we still need big N, we need to sell our crap Just Dance !
I wanted at first to buy Unity for PC but after their declarations and their disdain for the 'non-gamers' (ahah stop, just stop), I'll boycott it. Not even AC Rogue for the U.... Fuck you, Ubisoft you lazy fuckers (I call them Ubichiottes XD chiottes : crapper in french).

It really is bad. Some people seem to think they intentionally put out bad ports on PC... for what reason? Your guess is as good as mine, but it's pretty stupid whether they do it intentionally or not.

Speaking of Ubisoft and PC, apparently all of the big new titles were removed from Steam for reasons that aren't really clear. Some say Ubisoft had them removed, other say Valve removed them without informing Ubisoft. I've heard that apparently Ubisoft is having issues with paying 30% of the retail price of one game to Valve and actually want full profits, thus removing their games from Steam. The only way to get the new big titles (so Unity and Far Cry 4) is either through a physical copy or through Uplay, which apparently is riddled with bugs if I heard correctly. People who both pirated and bought Far Cry 3 in 2012 said that the pirated version actually ran better than the purchased one from Uplay LOL.
 
I've seen a PS4 walkthrough of Unity and while it does look okay-ish for PS4 graphics, I personally can't shake the feeling that it looks very underwhelming to what we've seen from other upcoming PS4 titles such as Dragon Age: Inquisition. The textures aren't as detailed and it all isn't as HD as I'd like. I watched the walkthrough on 1080p but I still felt like it was lacking something.
 
Also if Ubisoft claims WiiU has no "mature" titles than they obviously have never heard of Bayonetta lmao.

I just finished my third attempt to make it through this album. Zeitgeist was my first time listening to the band and I really enjoyed it. I wish I could say that same for Rhapsody. I feel like I have the opposite view point as Cat does. Where he see's at it as a band taking their own route and doing something unique when they could have played it safe I feel like they are trying to hard to be grungy and I feel like I am having "LOOK AT US WE ARE UNPOLISHED AND UNIQUE" shouted at me.

My biggest problems with this albums comes with its intentional unpolished, borderline noise, quality of the album. And it's not that I don't like it when bands do this as there are some that I can really enjoy when they get it right (Boris is the first one that pops in to my mind). Perhaps this is something unique to me, but I hate the sound of guitars that are so far distorted that they bring out that grainy sound that reminds me of listening to a low bitrate song...maybe it's just a case for me that there is a fine line between "fuzz" and low quality and The Novembers steps across that line for me on tracks like Sturm und Drang, Blood Music.1985, and the one they named by mashing their first on to the numpad.

There are songs like Rhapsody in beauty that I want to like but that siren like just ends up grating on me too much. Xeno feels a bit too stock imo and tu m' and Bokurawa Nandattan Darou just come off as snoozefests imo. Xenakis goes the ambient/noise route, and since I have always had a hard time enjoying ambient music because I need a bit more of a bite to my songs to keep me interested, so this is pretty much is an immediate skip for me.

This leaves dumb and Romancé as the standout tracks of the album for me. And while they are good, I can't say that they blow me away.

All in all Rhapsody feels like a huge miss to me. And while I don't fault anyone for liking it, I doubt I will ever spin this album again.

It is unacceptable that Cat5 does not know every vkei musician to have ever been.

Last week, イツエ(itsue) released a youtube video with scenes of recording and at the end, it teased a "new release" soon.

While Music is hardly a fantastic album, I still enjoy it. On the other end, Monster isn't bad either, but it was entirely forgettable. Sure it wasn't the abominations that were NOW and GO and was most certainly a step in the right direction, it didn't stop it from being bland and forgettable. I don't remember a single song off of Monster and haven't be compelled to spinning again after its initial release (and Gravitation is so much better that it is makes Monster obsolete imo) while I can still think back Music and actually can remember the songs in my head.
That and I love the weird ass instrumental track before Puzzle on Music.

My vote goes towards Biopanda, but I don't see him on the list. Must be some sort of mistake as he is a pretty cool guy.

You weren't "humiliated" because you showed feelings, you were addressed because you were using unrelated arguments that were far removed from the original discussion in the thread and then got upset when people didn't agree with you. If you want to share feelings on the internet then that's fine with me (it's none of my business), but don't do it where it has no place, especially in discussions about sharing music. Don't forget that this website isn't your personal diary where you can write everything you want wherever on the board.

Not too impressed yet, misses a bit of "oomph" for the type of ballad they're trying to go for. Can't wait for the PV though, I'm in need of some good old cheese VK.
