  1. @TheStoic: My thoughts as well, especially for a band like Arlequin, the chorus is almost a foregone conclusion lol. Even in general though, using chorus-only previews like that always makes me cynical.
  2. Elazmus

Yup. I remember a lot of others calling it out with the single details. I also remember being all over ViViD's first few releases. This is needed..

Jey has such a beautiful high range and I've always liked his gowls, he should: -Work on witing some lower, darker melodies so that these soaring choruses don't end up all blending together. -(maybe a mixing issue) have his harsh vocals stand out a bit more, as so far they have risked being drowned out by the core riffs. Maybe some more "catchy" rhythms or vocal patterns to these harsh sections
  4. LMAO.... These fuckin guys... Looking forward!

Their style reminds me of prime Sadie.... I think MISS's clean vocal melodies could fit a bit better than they do right now. It's early days though.

Previews have me hyped more than before, I wasn't expecting such energy in the opening tracks. This is gonna be great I think. Leatherfield and Dunes sound like a powerful intro, kind of like Soshaku-Uroko on Arche

Full version of TDD removed from that wall... But that preview... looks like easily the best GazettE vid since DIM

Honestly I thought all of the new tracks had cool atmosphere and promising instrumental. I've always liked how Mukuro doesn't "hide" behind growling all the time and is always willing to be dark-melodic and not just typical heavy even knowing how weak his clean singing is. I personally really enjoyed the D.I.S/Fears single as an example of this, but the fact that these new tracks are 90% clean singing only is just pushing it too far. I am truly pulling for him developing a stronger singing voice, but based on this, he is clearly NOT there yet. So why he decided to cut off his stronger leg and stumble through a hyped release on his clean-singing string bean I cannot begin to understand... I kind of got the feeling that LI'VERT was picking up a niche fanbase, which IMO they are deserving of. They remind me of UnsraW, and since we are probably all going to die before we ever get to hear what ERIZA sounds like, LI'VERTs presence is very welcome. They just need to give people more of what was clearly their selling point, which (like UnsraW) lies in staying more towards the truly heavy songs...

Want to be excited for this, only thing holding me back is possibly not getting to hear it at all. Track titles remind me of The Public Circus. That's a good feeling.
  10. Such beautiful engrish. and the track list. The PV Spot is great, from the chorus it sounds like they haven't deviated much from what they sounded like before but it absolutely sounds overall more powerful than their past few released (which I was very into).
  11. Elazmus

    Thank you for these
  12. Elazmus

The live clips look so fantastic
  13. Yeahh their sound is quite similar to DEZERT which of course is my prescription of choice.. I'm deep into this
  14. Ryouga taking liberties with remakes of BORN tracks since he composed Kaishi and Outo. I wish there was a way to hear this, but we haven't even head ERIZA itself yet lmao.
  15. I always felt Keita's voice was too "nice" sounding to really be compelling in a straight up VKore band, I think this lineup has the potential to compliment him better. Based on the band name though, my mouth is watering a bit for ethnic instrumental experiments a la Arkhelism. <3 Unfortunately, you couldn't pay me to care about Undivide or Loka, but with Sujk involved I'm not really worried..
  16. Elazmus

Some of the band shots look kind of like a 9Goats PV, which is nice. I like the song, being so laid back and ambient (and of course it's role as a promotional track) makes me have to compare it to Aftermath leading to IMMORTALIS. In which case Focus gives me a bit more to be interested in, although I may have preferred the Aftermath PV as a whole. Some of the visual ideas in this one seem like they have been just freshly played out by Kukoku no Kyouon.
  17. Elazmus

Looking forward to this. The preview is decent, not my favorite by them but their range is possibly expanding (?)
  18. and now worse than a rainy day

  19. I find it easier to look forward to Arlequin when it's in single format, that's where they need to stay for the time being. it sounds good for more short-term listening
  20. I swear Leda and Sujk were listening to our responses to the new DELUHI best release... This is great fucking news.
  21. Elazmus

Yeah yeah just to clarify I LOVED Sujk's Arkhelism/2. More percussive and more experimental I think DELUHI could sound even better from the experience.
  22. Elazmus

Wtf just reform.. You obviously all want to... I cannot really get excited. I'd prefer even a single release from Sujk.. Just not any more of Juri's Blanche nonsense...
  23. I'd love to see a PV for some other new song on ARCHE on here. Soshaku, Uroko, Tousei, Chain Repulsion and Behind a Vacant Image would be my first picks
  24. Elazmus

See, this was my least favorite song on the album but the PV ? I prefer this over Diru's ROM
  25. 10 types ? That's a fucking ALBUM, boys. What is this, Paranoid Personality?
