I just feel like these samples are so uselessly short lol, it's fine I guess because we are so close to release anyway but at least a couple of these samples seem like they are a very bad example of the actual song..

Ahhh see this is much better. I like the Tejou to Kurobara look the best As for the sound, from the beginning of the video I could tell it was at least a bit influenced by AvelCain indeed, but it goes it's own way. A bit less old school and some heavier vocals, could be cool !

You could save time on writing "Screw with dry vocals" and just say "Screw" loll. I actually felt very Screw-ed by the breakdown though, boring electronic sound IMO... Would you say you overall prefer Byou to Ryouga then ? (Jw)

@Nagaram: Yeah you are right on I think, right from when they showed the new look on the OHP, I was reminded of Blasted Animals and it seems like the look was a good teaser for what it will sound like too. As I've said before I am a BIG Blasted Animals guy myself and it is hard for me to imagine liking this more (Even if it already may be my favorite PV next to it). but the full version could surprise even more ! THANK YOU FOR THE B-SIDE LINKS. Outo is pretty interesting, it's fun to see Ryouga playing with his falsetto more (also in SOAB) Kaishi I have to agree sounds like something SCREW would do.. but at least Ryouga has a habit of holding my attention for more than 30 seconds (unlike Byou lol)

See, I would say Aki has a strong voice and carries his melodies well. On the other hand there is really no flourish to his singing at all, if he could develop a consistent vibrato it would do him wonders. For example in Ano Mado ni Osowatta Koto on the new album, there are some drawn out notes in the verse where you can kind of feel him going for it but produces only the slightest undulation at the end. It's not totally necessary but if I were him it is the first thing I would work on. I actually like Aki's inhaled screaming, I think his annunciation is impressive for what he's doing but it is VERY monotonous and causes all of his screaming sections to sound the same (kind of like his clean singing... >_> ) I can see he's got these deficits piling against him, but IMO a few small changes to his routine could flesh him out easily..

Well I LOVE the PV I was loving the song too until the chorus hit, there's just no life to it. The group shouts seem quiet and Ryouga sings only a short line in between. I am liking it a bit more the more I hear it, but it's a shame.. Still the video is SO much better looking than The Stalin, The song may end up being the opposite of it (with the Stalin having virtually nothing to offer sans the chorus) I wouldn't call this amazing, but this is the easiest it's been to feel positive about Born all year lol

I have to agree that these choruses make STU sound so flat by comparison

You guys took many words from my mouth.. This album is a good packaging of the sound they have so far, but adds virtually nothing. It kind of ends before I can even get into it . Maybe this would have served better as a 6-8 song mini album...?

So good, I enjoyed STU but the new samples just blew it away I believe
