The remake of Killing Me honestly makes SM worth it on it's own XD Could have just re-released the Killing Me single with the PV and all, but they did have a FUCKLOAD of unused singles so SM makes sense to wipe the slate clean and start fresh with RAVEN. Trying to rank their singles: -Shuuei -A Priori -Raven -Decadance -Karma -Killing Me -Sabbato -Sadisgate -Theatrical Blue Black -DIE KUSSE -Emily -Avalon Just off the top of my head, anyone else? Note: Based on the title track I'd pencil in Nepenthes between Raven and Killing Me but of course the b-sides could work for or against it. These are based on the single as a whole and not just the title track.

The more I listen to this the more I see the similarities to Theatrical Blue Black, and I definitely hear some Sabbato in it too. Also I did mention this to someone I think, but I love how fucking strange it is that Tsuzuku's harsh vocals are so much more reliable OUT of the studio XD

Bathroom, Chizuru, Taion, Dim Scene... I also wish we could get another career-defining track like this that could be talked about endlessly. To Dazzling Darkness was a clear attempt at following those songs but it ends up being something forgettable unfortunately. The composition has just been so stark since Toxic, this is the first I'm hearing of Ruki's tendency to eliminate and oversimplify others' works but it's very interesting and makes a lot of sense.

I'd really like to see Ruki with shorter more genuinely spiked hair again some day, his style is very wavy and long/untextured nowadays and it's nice but in some appearances it just looks like no style at all. ANYWAY yeah, im eager for a release announcement, but maybe not another obligatory 14 track album with re-imagining of the same set of themes and Ideas they have been cycling through. A mini album, or a more modest, 10 song album would be good. I'm all for more material but the same-old-14-songs-a-year schedule is more hurtful than helpful

DAMNIT now I'm gonna be totally jaded to this song by the time of the single release XD Okay so first play notes: -The video itself had me a little disinterested at first (kind of like TBB) but after a little bit the kaleidoscope effects started looking cool, the two-headed Tzk on the table and all is a cool shot :] -I don't like the filter over the vocals during the interlude at 2:27. It sounded AWESOME live and the vocals are still on point but the filter makes it much less commanding and powerful :[ -Maybe its a curse to have had this song debut on the DVD when we all know how much more impressive MEJ are on stage, but this is still suuuch a far cry from Theatrical Blue Black. -I HATE THE COVERS TT_TT

OHHHHH THIS is what BG is doing right now? Ok cool! I appreciate this band in general but this sounds like a song I could get into as more than just a few-listen gimmick. They have hella potential and skill but it's up to them at all times how seriously they want to take it. This LOOKS great too.
