  1. I think it really comes down to what you expect when listening to music. Which aspects are most important for you to enjoy it. Is it originality? Talent? Sound and recording quality? Does the song comply with your personal genre preferences? And how do you rate these aspects? Your rating could be absolute. Comparing the song to everything you ever listened to in a vacuum. You don't care who made it and under which preconditions because all that matters is how much you enjoy it. Or maybe it is relative. You care about potential and compare to other releases from the same band or bands at the same point of their career because you enjoy seeing musicians grow. Both stances make perfect sense.

The first category of people might still listen to indies bands because they can be fresh and surprising and edgy but see no point in them if theres a larger band doing the same style but better and in high definiton. The judgement would be harsh accordingly.  The second category of people might even appreciate a little crappiness and overlook the plagiarism and basic recording quality and only get bored when there's no development anymore.

It's not petty, it's just a matter of perspective.

  2. The two tracks by Romance for~ on the THE END OF THE CENTURY ROCKERS Ⅲ sampler fit together so well that I decided to translate both of them. : ) Maybe somebody enjoys those.

*In the sung version the verb used is 呟いて (tsubuyaite) meaning 'to utter', which makes this the direct speech I've translated it to.
However, in the written lyrics the word 咲いて (saite) meaning "to bloom" is used which alters the meaning to "blooming with the acacia(trees)"

The meaning of white acacia flowers in hanakotoba is longing or yearning (among other things)

*The word 人(person) in the written lyrics is pronounced 'hito'. The vocal appears to sing it as 'so', though. There is the archaic expression 夫 (that person) that is pronounced 'so' and that might be why. However, I'm not 100% sure about what he's singing right there, so it might just be a very shitty pronounciation of 'hito' or something completely different even. D :

Ladies, I have a question. It's kinda personal, so I am gonna beat around the bush for a bit.

I am a slender guy (think japanese guy slim), so I have to have my clothes fitted, or buy a skinny size, or have my clothes held on with a belt/suspender. It's no biggie, since I like my fashion sense, and I receive compliments for some of my outfits when I go out.

Well, my problem is that my junk is a bit over average size, and to make matters worse, my crotch seems to protrude a bit more than normal, depending on the outfit.

I would say it is the equivalent of a woman's cameltoe.

I have to slouch sometimes so my crotch bulge/shape doesn't attract too much attention. Keeping my hands in my pockets helps too. I can't wear sweatpants, or shorts, or anything that stretches because good god is it obvious.

I know people notice because it's obvious to me when I walk, that they don't look at me, but down there. I've had women giggle, or secretly take a pic (yes, I was shocked too) and on one occasion (that I actually paid attention to), some girl was fucking my crotch with her eyes for a while when I was seated. I noticed but didn't say anything. Might sound funny to you, but not to me.

I've gone on male forums, and have looked up other people bringing topics relating to concealing it up, but all I'm reading are responses like "you should be more proud of your junk", "women love that shit", "Just rub one out before you go out, bro", or other responses that make me feel like I'm self-conscious. I feel like I'm not looking in the right places.

So I'm wondering ladies, Is this something I have to worry about? What is going through your mind when you see something like that? Feel free to crack jokes, or say I'm bragging, idc. I just really wanna know for my own sake. I'm not self conscious, but it does make me uncomfortable when women look. Should I just go back to wearing baggy clothing?

I know when I see a woman's cameltoe or a bust larger than their waist size, I'd say something like "That's Nice.", or "Hell Yeah.", then go about my business. I'm a guy. I'd pretty much say the same thing if a woman has cool clothes, or catches my interest.

Should I feel confident about it, like the guys are saying?

Take some photos so we can visualize the issue better and make more qualified suggestions.  ; >

  5. "B.R.N" by Insanity Injection

can some explain this? I hear zero old school.

Well it depends on your definition of the word 'oldschool'.

Definition in this thread was early 90's vk.

Does anybody listen to old visual kei, like early 90's kind of stuff?

In that case I agree. Can't think of any vk band from that time that sounds similar to Insanity injection.

@CAT5 propably referred to a completely different era. Things looked a little different 10 years later. ; D
