I'm not a fan of this look... Jyou looks too manly... The only one I actually like the look of is Naoto. Re: twin vocals - I feel bad because, the first time they released a song with Miko singing, I said "Miko's voice is nice, she should sing more!" I'm sorry. Go back to Jyou-only please. I would like their current stuff a lot more if Miko didn't sing. Ideally, go back to 2008 raw-ass Jyou. But I have been assuming that she stopped growling cuz it was screwing up her voice. edit: I actually did kind of like the new songs I heard his year (Twin Wings/Shout Out)

I completely forgot Nimo joined, and was surprised again when I saw this topic. Well, the new song seems ok. I like those beats. The old songs seem a lot better now that Ricky's not singing them. But those songs are still just mediocre rock songs that don't seem to stand out at all. I miss D'espairsRay too (by coincidence, I am wearing my D'espairsRay t-shirt right now...), but with Hizumi's voice problems, Zero & Tsukasa stuck in this band, and Karyu stuck in Angelo with another vocalist I don't like... I will move on.. .

Before we all freak out about FF7-Remake being "multi-part" and being "action RPG".. here are some points from interviews with Nomura & Kitase (taken from another forum) I don't trust Square Enix very much, and I'm totally convinced they are splitting FF7 to charge more $$$. However I understand that the game is rather huge, and re-creating all of those different towns, environments, and characters with modern graphics cannot be cheap. If they really cannot fit all of this into one disc, I would actually support the decision to split it up. They can use revenue from part 1 to fund part 2. It also means you'll be able to play part 1 a lot sooner than if you had to wait for the entire thing. Too bad they have to milk the rabid fanbase to do it. ..That said, they have not revealed anything about the pricing or how many parts there will be. I would wait for that information before having a meltdown. As for battle system, I would prefer turn-based. The part where it's "similar to Dissidia" has me a little concerned, because I played Dissidia on PSP for about 1-2 hours, did not get the battle system at all, and quit playing it. But, whatever, this game's battle system will be a hybrid of multiple styles, and I will be more motivated to learn it because it is FF7. ------- As for Ni no Kuni 2, I wish I was more excited about it. I played the first game, and ~sort of~ liked it up until that last dungeon where there seemed to be a difficulty spike and I had to grind out levels. It really killed all the momentum of the story and made me hate the game. I also do not like the Miyazaki art style, and I hate playing as small children. The best part of the game was naming all of my Pokemon tamed monster things after VK band members. ..... I guess this series is just not for me. ------- Upcoming games I'm presently hyped for (I'm a PS4/PS3/Vita player): Tales of Berseria Star Ocean 5 Yakuza 0 (I might actually just play the Japanese version if it goes on sale) "Yakuza Extreme" (aka Ryu ga Gotoku Kiwami) Yakuza 6 Dragon Quest XI Danganronpa 3 Zero Escape 3 Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X South Park: The Fractured But Whole Wattam Final Fantasy XV Pretty sure all of these are scheduled for 2016 release. My wallet just fainted.

^ yeah I got an e-mail from CD Japan overnight. Fucking delay AGAIN. It has already held up my original order by a week. I have now moved this album to my other order scheduled to ship 11/25. .. then I added Arlequin's single to the first order because it's releasing 11/04 anyway. Wasn't planning to buy it. Thanks for making me spend another 3000 yen (+shipping).

(in the case of autotune being used to correct or enhance vocals) - If I don't notice it, I don't really care. There's a reason I almost never listen to live performances - most singers, in my experience, sound kind of terrible at lives... (in the case of autotune being used to create obvious effects) - I don't like it if it's overused. If the entire song has that robotic sound I usually can't stand it. If it's just like a sound effect here and there, I think it's fine.

WOW. This makes me kind of angry at CDJapan's customer service. Unless, for whatever reason, it's something that *none* of their suppliers had any information about.. until now. Yeah, that is weird... They are mentioned in the (only) news post as members of the label along with all the other bands, they have their own link in the sidebar, etc. There are also 2 of those lives where they aren't called "guests". Maybe there are answers in RR's blog or Avanchick's blogs but I'm too lazy to dig through all of that. I guess it doesn't matter too much.. all I care about is being able to acquire the CDs...

Update: Looks like Amazon is preparing to ship this single, so I guess there was nothing to worry about. Still weird that CDJapan couldn't sell it. Information about the single has finally been added to Avanchick's OHP. Maybe.
