  1. I would assume a winner is drawn by a lottery ticket, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's a first-come, first-served purchase. Kisaki (and UNDER CODE) have sold these lucky-bags dozens of times, and you're actually off way cheaper, and you'd know this if you've ever made these purchases before. Please don't instantly shout 'money-grubber!' without knowing what you're talking about. For instance, I have bought both ¥5.000 and ¥10.000 lucky-bags from them in the past, and their contents were always much more expensive than the price you buy them for. Also, these ones are considerably cheap. The Kisaki one features one of his costumes and ten videos from his personal collection, this could mean that the lucky buyer is receiving content that has never been released before, or content that we are entirely unaware of. It's hardly hunger, it's dedication to fans.
  2. Both shows are cancelled and postponed to August/September 2016.
  3. Good parts from 01:06 to 01:29, and from 02:42 to 03:05. The rest... not so much. Ruki's clean singing —especially on GODDESS (which is generally the lifesaver on here)— saves this single, but only by an inch. More typical GazettE-esque riffing in DEPRAVITY's chorus, but it's not coming frequently enough to my liking.

I think it's becoming more and more clear with thoughts like this that Visual Kei by itself isn't a genre, but a statement or movement. It similar to fashion; it changes every season and whether you like the latest trends or not, it's what you'll have to bear with. You can wear your old clothes for another year, or you're following the movement with pleasure. It's why I rather wait this movement of Metalcore out until groups to my interest are coming out in small waves again, and until then I stick with what I know. If you take music genres apart, the essence of them doesn't change much. Thrash metal will remain as such, Death metal will remain as such, as is similar with a lot of other genres. Surely, new groups form and different sounds can be implemented in their compositions, but the core remains there. Visual Kei has established itself around a lot of such genres and we can only wait until one of the few trends in the rotation is chosen as number one again. And you like these genres or not, it's not as simple as selecting a few bands that might sound a little different for some people. If someone doesn't like Metalcore, let them dislike it. There's no chance that pushing it under their noses and saying they'll get by will change their opinion all that much.

It's not that simple here. For almost every job the greatest requirement is to have an extrovert personality which would make you a great salesperson, even if you're not applying for being a salesperson. When I was younger, I was working for mail delivery (I ran solo all day, no one was around me), and one of their requirements was to be able to communicate with people like a breeze. It was a miracle I was even selected. The only jobs I've worked so far that were okay for me and didn't leave me physically sick every day were administrative jobs, but they're just so meticulously boring. I seriously have no idea about my future because I can't break through my anxiety for people.
  6. Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Dad has to stay longer because during one of his cardio tests, he felt the same pain again, so it wasn't just a one-time thing.

Really beginning to wonder what the job possibilities are for an introvert who gets panic attacks from talking to strangers both over the phone and face-to-face. I get declined for literally almost everything.

Bear, do you keep a list somewhere of everything you've watched?

There are a few other threads similar to this one out there, aren't there now? But I suppose there's always room for more of people's thoughts on the subject matter, seeing as it's becoming quite the rowdy discussion out here. I feel the same as you, together with a few others who aren't into Visual Kei's current directional movement. This is fine for me, I stick to what I know and promised to myself that I won't go out of my way anymore to find new bands who might bear a slightly different tone than others because I know for myself that I won't really find them anymore, unless rooted musicians pop up with a new project. But to address a few personal favourites who are currently still active (or close to disbanding) who I believe are worth noticing — most of these bands consist of musicians who have been around since the late 90's or early 00's: MASKED RIDER SYSTEM KAMIJO KEEL Femme Fatale K.A.F.K.A Scarlet Valse ザアザア マルコ メディーナ Synk;yet-シンクイェット- ライチ☆光クラブ Veritas en void Lament. 凛 -the end of corruption world- 己龍 -真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ Lucifer's Underground MORE THE MORTAL R指定 Obviously there are the obvious names like BUCK-TICK and PENICILLIN, but I don't think it's useful mentioning those here.

All those passive agressive comments on Facebook about people not changing their profile pictures are upsetting. If you don't want to change it that's fine, but don't play the 'edgy cool kid' by going on a gigantic rant about how you don't want to change it, it's bringing other people's spirits down a lot.

It was limited to sales on their lives, but I bought it from a girl who had purchased a few extra of them (for reasons unknown). She might actually still have one if you're interested.
  13. Tetsu won't be participating on this tour. This is likely due to his neck-and vertebrae injuries which leaves him without the consent to fly.
  14. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow for the price of ± €33/£30, VIP tickets will cost you about €50/£45. There are 80 VIP tickets available per venue (I think?).
  15. The track 'GODDESS' sounds as if it's the one with the most potential on there. The other two tracks are just continuous loops following where they left off with the flop that was DOGMA.

Then that means Zin is absolutely insane live.

^ I listened to that video of Lorelei yesterday and I genuinely wonder if it's not simply a recording they're playing. The sound is very clear for what appears to be a mediocre video-recording system and the similarities to the album version is too great.

Zin-François Angélique makes a return. It appears this year has been saved.
  19. Unless someone I know is going to Germany, this is obviously a no for me...
