Samples for the entire album. Eh, not feeling it for any of the songs, though they may grow on me eventually like 13 did. Luckily I only committed to the tour final and nothing more eh

Anyone has recommendations for buying concert tickets or via 2nd hand ticket sites? Namely:
The tickets I want is sold out and I need a middleman to buy tickets off these sites.
Thanks in advance!

Nothing on this on the website though; where is this info released? Any concrete dates & venues? Hope it's in line with my trip in late Mar!

Well, if the collective strength of Monochrome Heaven is willing to bless me with those 3 vouchers from all 3 versions, I'll get the '0' album when I attend the tour final and share it here or PM to those who contributed/want it hahaha
Provided it's not out of stock though; I attended the 2nd day of XA-VAT's comeback reunion in July and the CD's sold out. There's even a sign stating that 1 person can buy only 1 at most so there must be alot of people buying a couple on the 1st day zzzzzzzzzzz

3 hours ago, Jigsaw9 said:^ Thanks for clarifying! Yikes...
Plain ol' regular edition for me then.
So I was right...? Damn, I already have plans to attend the tour final but there's no way I'm going to spend 14000 yen to get the same 3 albums, esp when one of it is useless to me (as someone who doesn't live in Japan). Though I figured that might be the going price for that '0' album on yahoo auctions in future.
And I found no mention of '狂イ月夜' in cali gari's discography; is it a new song made with their 1st incarnation in mind? Or maybe its some super rare song that my googling skills failed to find?

18 hours ago, Jigsaw9 said:The album will contain 10 tracks and will be released in 3 types. Here are the details:
- "Kyoushin-ban": CD + DVD (2 MVs) + M-Card (containing album audio and the DVD contents) in a deluxe packaging
- "Graph-ban": 100-page photobook + M-Card (containing high-quality album audio and the DVD contents)
- "Ryoushin-ban": CD + M-Card (containing album audio)
The extra special bonus, however, is that all the types will include a voucher which you can exchange on the band's upcoming 2019 tour for.......... a new re-recording mini album titled "0" which contains some super old-school songs! (To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the band's formation.) Namely:
01. 禁色 (Kinjiki)
02. IF
03. 人形の家 (Ningyou no ie)
04. 狂イ月夜 (Kurui tsukiyo)
05 .LOVE FOR YOUAlso DAMMIT, at first I thought the mini album itself would be included with the album, but guess not... well, there goes my chances of hearing it 'legally'. ;(((
Thanks for the info, Jigsaw9! But checking out the original link:

3形態共にガリスト的マストアイテムなミニアルバム〝0〟のCD引換券付き!!
That seems to mean you have to have vouchers from ALL THREE versions in order to exchange for the CD? If so, that's really hard to stomach...

A weird request but for the kind souls who bought "the insulated world" album, could you please private message me a photo of the slip found in the album that shows the QR code & Passcode (random 6 character code under the QR code)?
I intend to attend to concert on 20th Mar 2019 and the code provides priority to purchase the tickets for that day.
Any assistance would be much appreciated; thanks in advance!

Tentative list of songs (not the final order):
・ 誘蛾灯 (Yuugatou)
・ さよなら、スターダスト (Sayonara, Stardust)
・ 君が咲く山 (Kimi ga saku yama)
・ 月光ドライブ (Gekkou Drive)
・ わずらい (Wazurai)Huh. I thought '電気睡蓮' should be one of the songs, since they played a rearranged version of it during the concert I attended last Dec. I hope this signals that there are more releases up their sleeves.

I think it was in April (???) that Mejibray’s Youtube channel’s name was changed to Forum Official. Another band was added that no one gave a shit about it. People assumed or hoped that was the reason why.
Then in May, after the first show on the Hangman tour which was completely normal, they posted that announcement on the homepage and all about the hiatus. After that, there were no more encores. Moreover, there were no more MCs. Tsuzuku didn’t talk to audiences at all (bar shouting the name of the city and maybe “Mejibray”). A lot of fans are of the mind that he was essentially gagged by the label and prohibited from speaking. No way to know this for sure, but it felt like it. Also worth noting is the instores switched from talks to 2shots before any of this. Also no way to know for sure this is related.
Most of their one-mans ended with BI”name”JIKA. Sometimes Decadance.
Mobile member content was really sporadic from there. Even the staff blog hasn’t had images added since the beginning of the last tour.
Fast forward to the tour final at Shinkiba Studio Coast. Tsuzuku and Koichi emerged painted black. They’d each done this once previously this year. The live was 14 songs instead of 15. This may or may not have been deliberate as Tsuzuku had collapsed and stayed down at the last song, seemingly overwhelmed. Koichi went to him and checked on him before stepping in front of him and seemingly flipping off the staff at the back and then holding up three fingers to the audience. The curtain finally closed.
Koichi’s birthday was a lot more fun. During the breaks between songs at one point, rather than facing the drums, Tsuzuku faced outwards, staring at the audience. He still didn’t speak; it was Koichi that spoke at the end, remarking on the challenges of the year and said we’d meet again next year. Everyone was crying, but the general air was optimistic after the live.
Then when the end of December hit, an announcement was posted on Mejibray’s OHP declaring that Tsuzuku’s and Koichi’s contracts had expired and to wish them the best in the future. Koichi’s Twitter and Instagram have been wiped clean. Meto’s birthday live where he will be providing vocals under a different name was announced. Mia is busy as fuck all spring with various projects and sessions.
So it’s basically been a massive clusterfuck. _(:3」z)_
Could you share the setlist for the Koichi birthday live? Ever since the announcement of the hiatus, the japanese fanbase seemed to stop updating their setlists on their blogs or public platforms like dailysetlist and I found it damn weird.

So punky, so Merry, such an energy boost! Who needs coffee, just listen to this album first thing in the morning. The only song I felt a bit meh about was gaudy, but I can see it growing on me. Black flag symptom was my favourite based on the previews and of course it's a Kenichi song. Here are the credits for all the songs, in case someone's interested:
1. 「M」World Order - Tetsu
2. MASS CONTROL - Nero
3. 犬型真性MASOCHIST - Yuu
4. gaudy - Yuu
5. 平日の女 -A面- Yuu
6. Black flag symptom - Kenichi
7. 傘と雨 - Yuu
8. F.J.P - Nero (Gara said the title stands for Future Japan, I think)
9. Happy life -reprise- Kenichi
10. SIGHT GLASS - Yuu
11. エムオロギー - YuuToo late to this but did anyone timeshifted this nico nico live and willing to share with me their account? I'll rip it and upload the live here, including the VIP locked content.

Just wondering what else I should listen to by them, I quite like what I've listened to so far.
SADS adopted different musical styles throughout their discography so the best I can describe in their album chronicle order is:
SADS, Blood & Rock & Roll - Straight up punk
Babylon - Gothic Rock
The Rose God Gave me - Metal, which is the style they finally decided on and only album that they will play songs from nowadays since their rebirth in 2010
Untitled & 13 - A mismash of whatever they feel like playing but mostly straight up rock. "Sherry" is BEAUTIFUL.
The 7 deadly sins and afterwards - Metal again
Now kiyoharu categorizes 'Rakuen', 'Masquerade' as more fitting of his slow-paced, haunting solo works repertoire so these songs will appear periodically in his solo concerts but never in a SADS concerts these last couple of years. Since you listed 'rakuen' and 'masquerade', seek out "Nothing" & "everything" from the untitled album cos they are in the same rein and are just as good.
I would strongly recommend these songs (not yet recommended above):

「ガラ生前葬」(第一部) (acoustic live):
1.喝采 (kassai) (ちあきなおみ (Chiaki Naomi))
2.アタシは捨て猫 (atashi wa suteneko) (MERRY)
3.時代 (jidai) (中島みゆき (Nakajima Miyuki))
4.ザァーザァー (zaa zaa) MERRY
5.COOKIE (尾崎豊 (Ozaki Yutaka))
6.SWAN (MERRY)Not gonna lie; I attended this and almost walked out. Gara got a monk to read scriptures for his 'death' and Gara himself thanked EACH AND EVERYONE OF THE ATTENDEES for attending his funeral and this went on for 60mins and then they showed videos of fake boowy, SMAP & kim jong un, etc congratulating him on his 'death' AND THEN they played the acoustic set. You see 6 songs above but the event ran for 2hours+ zzzzzzzzz
The 2nd set though, was ON-POINT. HAL, BETCHI and especially wu-chy were so proficient in their craft that and the songs were rearranged to be much more technical and engaging.

I usually attend heavy rock shows so i place a good amount of tape lol
Check my instagram for some of my sick clips lol
https://www.instagram.com/este_guy/
But won't this method muffle the audio being recorded, since its blocked by clear tape?
15 hours ago, Biopanda said:That's probably a good tip if you're going the phone route, since I don't think any phones have high quality enough mics to not get totally blown out. If you're willing to drop $100-200, then going with something like the Zoom H2 or H2n will get you great quality even without the best environment (i.e. a pocket, like me).
That was recorded with an H2n in my pocket at Ikebukuro Cyber which is... not exactly known for having the best acoustics either XD
The sound quality sounds great! Unfortunately, no way I'm going to put down $100 for something I don't do often; I'm just preparing for an upcoming concert blazing trip in Japan heh

1 hour ago, qotka said:I think it depends. Some people sing so loudly during concerts it actually ruins it for everyone around them. From what I understand, it's considered rude to sing during vkei concerts, unless the artists gives the crowd cue to sing. Not sure about other concerts though. I still sometimes catch myself lip-syncing for my life because in my country singing along at concerts is encouraged, so I have fun without getting nasty glares from people around me.
THIS SO MUCH. My experience was kinda ruined when fans were singing their heart out during the songs (when the singer in no way cued them) in a radwimps concert in Singapore I attended; if I wanted to hear people other than the band singing, I'll jolly well watch youtube covers instead.

5 hours ago, Biopanda said:I don't think it was ever explicitly stated by any of the bands either way (except for one band who said on their site that it's totally fine). Most, if not all, of the venues did have "no recording" signs permanently up, but that rarely stops anyone.
I'm pretty loose when it comes to my recordings. All of them were done using an audio-only recorder that I left in my pocket and did furi and enjoyed the concert normally regardless of how it'd effect the recording. I have to agree that people holding out their cellphones for a whole concert to record footage is pretty annoying from an audience perspective, but who am I to dictate how they enjoy the concert experience?
Actually, it is explicitly mentioned that no recording is allowed but like I said, I just keep my cell phone in my breast pocket; I just want a decently audible recording afterwards while I pump my fists in the air/shout my favourite member's name etc. And yeah, concert attendees who are more interested in taking photos and video recording annoys me to no end >:(
